How We Hold ±0.05mm on Thin-Gauge Stamped Clamps

Deburring and Edge Conditioning Before Any Plating

Raw stamped edges are sharp enough to cut wiring insulation. We run every part through a vibratory finisher with ceramic media for 30 to 45 minutes, which brings edge radii to 0.1mm – 0.2mm. Then we wash and dry the parts in a degreasing line that removes all stamping oil. If you skip this step, your clamps will chafe cables during thermal cycling. We do not skip it.
