Opening

We make double torsion springs exactly to your drawing. Not an approximation. Not a "close enough" version. Your DWG or PDF defines the wire diameter, coil count, leg angles, and free position. We hold it.

Every spring is verified before shipment. We check coil diameter, leg position, and load at specified deflection. If it does not match your print, it does not ship.

At a glance: Tolerance ±0.05 mm on coil OD, ±1° on leg angles, lead time 7–12 working days, no MOQ, material certs included.

Custom Copper Helical Antenna Springs

We use CNC coilers, not manual winders. This gives repeatable pitch and consistent leg geometry across the whole batch. For critical applications, we add shot peening to improve fatigue life by up to 30%.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Each production lot gets a unique heat number and job number. If you need to trace a spring back to its wire batch, we can do it in minutes. We keep records for 10 years.

2. Inspection report per batch. You get a dimensional report with actual measured values, not just a pass/fail stamp. We measure coil OD, free length, leg angles, and load at two specified deflections. The report is signed by our QC engineer.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink. Your assembly might need a stamped bracket, a CNC-machined housing, a compression spring, and an aluminum heatsink. We make all four under one roof. You save on shipping, you save on supplier management, and you get one responsible party for the whole assembly.

Where these parts are used

Double torsion springs store energy and return a mechanism to its starting position. They are common in:

  • Automotive – seat belt retractors, throttle return mechanisms, clutch pedals
  • Medical devices – surgical staplers, retractable needles, orthopedic braces
  • Aerospace – actuator return springs, latch mechanisms in cabin interiors
  • Industrial equipment – safety valves, conveyor belt tensioners, door closers
  • Consumer products – clothespins, mousetraps, folding furniture hinges, garage door counterbalance

Because we control the wire material and heat treatment, we can tune the spring rate to your exact application. Need a spring that holds 5 N at 30° deflection? We calculate the wire diameter and coil count, then verify it on a load tester.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one prototype or one million pieces. Prototype pricing is slightly higher per piece, but the tooling is free. We do not charge setup fees for standard wire diameters.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We use CNC coilers with closed-loop wire feed control. First article is measured on a CMM and a torsion load tester. Production lots are sampled per AQL 2.5. If a dimension drifts, we stop the line and adjust. You receive the inspection report with your shipment.

Q: What is your lead time for custom springs? A: Prototypes: 5–7 working days. Production: 7–12 working days after drawing approval. For urgent orders, we can rush a prototype in 48 hours for a 20% surcharge.

Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every batch comes with an EN 10204 3.1 material certificate. We also provide hardness test reports and fatigue test data if requested. For aerospace or medical, we can supply full traceability documentation.

Send your drawing

Email your DWG, DXF, PDF, or even a hand sketch with dimensions. Our engineers will review it and send you a firm quote within 12 hours. The quote includes unit price, tooling cost (if any), lead time, and a suggested material if your drawing does not specify one.

We are a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China, with 20 years of spring-making experience. You talk to an engineer, not a salesperson.
