Opening

You need a spring clip that holds tension, resists corrosion, and fits your assembly on the first try. We make it from your drawing, not from a catalog. Every batch is verified before shipment.

We are BQUQ, a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China. Our metal stamping line has run for 20 years. We do not guess tolerances. We measure them.

At a glance: +/- 0.05 mm stamping tolerance, 7-day lead time for prototypes, 15 days for production, no MOQ.

Specifications

We run high-speed presses from 25 to 250 tons. For zinc plated spring clips, we use cold-rolled steel strip (SPCC, SPCD, or 65Mn spring steel) and apply a bright or yellow zinc plating per ASTM B633. We can also add a clear trivalent chromate passivate if your spec requires RoHS compliance.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every lot gets a unique batch number. We record the material heat number, press settings, die wear check, and plating bath data. If a part fails in your field, we trace it back to the exact shift that made it. You get a traceability sheet with every shipment.

2. Inspection report per batch. We do not say "it should be fine." We send you a dimensional report with CMM (coordinate measuring machine) data for critical features, a plating thickness test result, and a hardness check if you specified spring temper. You can verify our work before you put it on your line.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Your spring clip is not an island. It sits next to a CNC-machined bracket, a compression spring, and a heat sink. We make all of them under one roof. That means one purchase order, one quality system, and no finger-pointing between suppliers when something does not fit. You talk to one engineer, not four.

Where these parts are used

Spring clips are the quiet workhorses of mechanical assemblies. We ship them to OEMs in automotive, electronics, and appliance industries.

  • Automotive: Retaining clips for brake calipers, fuel line brackets, and interior trim fasteners. Zinc plating protects against road salt and humidity.
  • Electronics: EMI shield clips, battery contact clips, and PCB mounting clips. Our 65Mn material gives consistent contact force over thousands of cycles.
  • Appliances: Tension clips for washing machine door seals, oven rack stops, and refrigerator hinge springs. These parts see heat and moisture, so we spec the right plating thickness.
  • Industrial equipment: Lock washers, retaining rings, and quick-release clips for pneumatic cylinders. Tolerance matters here—a loose clip means downtime.

If your application needs a custom shape, a specific spring rate, or a corrosion spec beyond standard zinc, send us the drawing. We will tell you if it is stampable and what it will cost.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: Do you really have no MOQ? A: Yes. We run small batches for prototypes and low-volume production. Your first order can be 100 pieces. The unit price will be higher than a million-piece run, but you do not pay for tooling you do not need. We keep standard dies for common clip shapes.

Q: What tolerance and quality can I expect? A: Standard stamping tolerance is +/- 0.05 mm. For critical spring clip features like bend angles and slot widths, we hold +/- 0.02 mm with a precision die. Every batch ships with an inspection report. We use AQL 2.5 sampling and 100% inspection on features that affect function.

Q: What is your lead time? A: Prototype parts ship in 7 days after drawing approval. Production runs take 15 days. If you need faster, we can split the batch and air-freight the first portion. We have done 5-day turnarounds for emergency line-down situations.

Q: Do you provide material certificates and plating certs? A: Yes. Every shipment includes a mill certificate for the steel strip and a plating thickness certificate. If you need a RoHS or REACH declaration, we provide it. For automotive buyers, we can supply PPAP Level 3 documentation on request.
