Opening

Your drawing defines the part. We build it to that print, not to a guess. Every copper helical antenna spring is machined or wound to your specified coil count, pitch, and free length. Before any box leaves our floor, we verify dimensions and electrical continuity on a calibrated test fixture. If it does not match your tolerance, it does not ship.

At a glance: ±0.02 mm on wire diameter and coil pitch, ±0.05 mm on free length, lead time 7–12 working days after drawing approval, no MOQ (order one piece or ten thousand), full material traceability from coil to carton.

Custom Battery Contact Springs

All copper helical antenna springs are produced on our own CNC coiling machines. We do not outsource winding. For high-frequency RF applications, we offer beryllium copper with gold plating to maintain low contact resistance and stable inductance.

Three Reasons Buyers Send Us Their Drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality, not spot checks. Each batch gets a unique job number. We record the wire supplier, heat number, machine settings, and operator ID. If you find an issue in lot 12, we can pull the exact production records from lot 12 within one hour. That is standard, not a premium service.

2. Inspection report per batch, included free. You receive a dimensional report with measured values for OD, ID, free length, coil count, and surface condition. For RF springs, we also include a DC resistance test value. The report is signed by our QC engineer and sent with the shipment. No extra charge.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink. Your antenna spring rarely ships alone. It sits next to a stamped contact, a CNC-machined housing, or a heat sink. We make all of those under one roof. You send one drawing package, get one quote, one set of QC reports, and one shipment. Fewer suppliers means fewer tolerance mismatches and faster problem solving.

Where These Parts Are Used

Copper helical antenna springs are not decorative. They carry RF current and provide mechanical compression. Typical applications include:

  • Handheld radio antennas – spring base absorbs shock and maintains ground contact.
  • IoT modules and LoRa gateways – helical coil acts as a compact radiating element at 868 MHz and 915 MHz.
  • Automotive key fobs – spring contact between PCB and battery terminal, with consistent force over 10,000 cycles.
  • Medical telemetry transmitters – small-diameter beryllium copper coils for 2.4 GHz band, gold plated for biocompatibility.
  • Test sockets and pogo pin assemblies – copper springs provide low inductance path for high-frequency signal integrity.
  • GPS and GNSS patch antennas – spring-loaded feed pins maintain contact under vibration.

If your part is not on this list, send the drawing anyway. We have built coil springs for drone gimbals, RF connectors, and even cryogenic sensor mounts.

Questions Buyers Ask Before Ordering

Q: Is there really no MOQ? A: Yes, no MOQ. We run a single prototype for $30 plus shipping. For production, we quote per piece based on your annual volume. Small batches cost more per unit, but you are never forced to buy 5,000 pieces to test a design.

Q: What tolerance can you hold on a 0.3 mm wire copper spring? A: On wire diameter, we hold ±0.02 mm. On coil OD, ±0.05 mm. On free length, ±0.05 mm for compression springs. For beryllium copper, we can hold ±0.03 mm on free length after heat treatment. If your drawing calls for tighter, we will tell you before quoting if it is not achievable.

Q: What is your actual lead time? A: Prototypes: 5–7 working days. Production: 7–12 working days after drawing approval and material confirmation. For gold-plated beryllium copper, add 3 days for plating. We ship worldwide via DHL, FedEx, or UPS. Customs clearance is your responsibility, but we provide all export documents.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every batch includes a mill certificate for the raw wire, showing chemical composition and mechanical properties. For beryllium copper, we also provide a heat treatment report. If your customer requires a specific standard (ASTM, JIS, or GB), we source wire to that spec and document it.

Send Your Drawing

Stop guessing if a Chinese factory can hold your tolerance. Send us your PDF or STEP file, and we will respond with a firm quote within 12 hours. We do not upsell. We tell you if the design is over-specified for the application, and we suggest a cheaper material if it works.
