If you need a spring that nests inside a bore or over a shaft, we control the pilot diameter to ±0.02 mm so it locates without slop.
Rough surfaces on touch springs create micro-welding points under repeated contact, increasing electrical resistance. Our standard finish is Ra 0.8 µm on the OD. For high-cycle tactile switches, we can go to Ra 0.4 µm with a barrel-polishing pass.
