Every stamped shim leaves our floor with a dimensional report. We check flatness, burr height, and hole position. If it doesn't match your print, it doesn't ship.
| Parameter | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Materials | SPCC, SECC, SUS301, SUS304, 65Mn, C17200, H62, AL5052, AL6061 | Full mill certs available |
| Thickness range | 0.05 – 6.0 mm | Precision shims below 0.1 mm use rolling + stamping |
| Tolerance (critical) | ±0.01 mm | Hole-to-hole, edge-to-hole |
| Tolerance (general) | ±0.05 mm | Per DIN 6935 |
| Burr height | ≤ 0.03 mm | Deburred on both sides if required |
| Flatness | ≤ 0.02 mm / 25 mm | Stress-relieved for thin parts |
| Surface finish | As-stamped, zinc-plated, nickel-plated, passivated | Custom plating per ASTM B633 |
| Stamping speed | 200 – 800 SPM | Progressive die, high-speed press |
| Die life | 500k – 2M strokes | Tool steel or carbide inserts |
| Batch size | 1 – 10,000,000 pcs | No MOQ, tooling amortized per order |
| Inspection | 100% critical dims, AQL 0.65 for visual | CMM + optical comparator |
1. Batch-traceable quality. Each production lot gets a unique heat number and batch code. We track material from incoming coil to finished box. If you have a field failure, we trace the exact batch in 30 minutes. No ambiguity.
2. Inspection report per batch. You get a PDF with actual measured values, not just a pass/fail. We include CMM data for critical dimensions, hardness test results, and surface roughness readings. Your QA team can file it without re-verification.
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Your shim might need a stamped base plus a CNC-machined pocket or a spring clip. We do it all under one roof. No multiple vendors, no shipping delays between processes. One purchase order, one responsible party.
These parts often sit where failure is not an option. That is why we treat a 0.10 mm shim with the same rigor as a structural bracket.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity? A: No MOQ. We stamp 1 piece for prototype validation or 1 million for production. Tooling cost is quoted separately and amortized over your forecast volume. For small batches, we use progressive dies with quick-change inserts to keep cost low.
Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We run first-article inspection on every new die. For production, we check critical dimensions every 2 hours using a CMM and optical comparator. A full dimensional report accompanies each shipment. If we miss a spec, we re-run the batch at our cost.
Q: What is the lead time for custom metal stamping? A: Prototypes in 5–7 days after drawing approval. Production runs ship in 10–15 days. For high-volume orders, we can stage tooling and raw material to cut lead time to 7 days. Rush service available for urgent line-down situations.
Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every order includes a mill certificate for the raw material. We also provide SGS or third-party testing if your contract requires it. Material traceability is standard, not an extra.
We quote from a PDF, STEP, or IGES file. No need for a complete drawing package—a sketch with critical dimensions is enough to start.
