We machine brass gears exactly to your drawing. No interpretation, no shortcuts. You send the CAD file or PDF; we handle the rest. Every gear is inspected before it leaves our Dongguan factory. You receive parts that match your print—dimensionally, metallurgically, and cosmetically.
We have run CNC machines for 20 years. Brass is a routine material for us. We know how to hold tight tolerances without galling or tearing the material.
At a glance: Tolerance ±0.005 mm, 72-hour prototyping, no MOQ for samples.
| Parameter | Options |
|---|---|
| Materials | C36000 free-cutting brass, C46400 naval brass, C26000 cartridge brass, H59/H62 brass, lead-free alternatives (C69300) |
| Machines | 3-axis CNC mills, 5-axis CNC mills, Swiss-type lathes, turning centers |
| Tolerance | Standard ±0.01 mm, precision ±0.005 mm, gear tooth profile per AGMA/ISO class |
| Surface finishes | As-machined, bead blasted, electropolished, nickel plating, gold plating, passivation |
| Batch sizes | 1–10 prototype, 10–500 low volume, 500–50,000 production |
| Lead time | 72 hours for prototypes, 5–7 days for low volume, 2–3 weeks for production runs |
| Inspection | CMM reports, gear tester (for tooth profile and runout), surface roughness tester |
Every row is negotiable. If you need a different brass grade or a tighter tolerance, we will quote it. We do not lock you into a standard.
1. Tolerance control that is batch-traceable. We assign a unique job number to every order. That number links to the machine, the operator, the material lot, and the inspection records. If you find an issue six months later, we can trace it back to the exact batch. We keep records for 3 years.
2. Inspection report per batch, not per sample. We do not just check the first piece and hope for the best. Each batch gets a sampling plan (typically AQL 2.5, or your specified plan). Critical dimensions—pitch diameter, tooth thickness, bore tolerance—are 100% measured. You get a PDF report with actual numbers. No vague "certificate of conformance."
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Many brass gear orders are part of a larger assembly. You might also need a stamped bracket, a spring, or a heat sink. Instead of coordinating three suppliers, you send us one drawing package. We machine the gears, stamp the bracket, wind the spring, and cut the heat sink—all under one roof. That means one shipping point, one invoice, and one quality standard.
Brass gears from our shop go into applications where precision and corrosion resistance matter. Real examples from our order history:
If your application is not on this list, send the drawing anyway. We have machined gears for robotics, vending machines, and even telescope mounts.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity? A: No MOQ for samples. You can order one piece to validate your design. For production, we quote based on your annual volume. Many customers start with 50 pieces and then scale up.
Q: Can you hold ±0.005 mm on a gear tooth profile? A: Yes, on the bore and pitch diameter. For tooth profile, we typically hold AGMA class 8–10, which is tighter than ±0.005 mm in most cases. We will confirm on your specific drawing before quoting.
Q: What is the real lead time for a prototype? A: 72 hours from drawing approval, plus shipping. That is for a standard brass grade, simple geometry, and no exotic surface finish. Complex gears with helical teeth or internal splines may take 5 days.
Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We provide mill certificates for the brass lot used in your order. If you need full traceability to the heat number, we can order material specifically for your job—adds 2–3 days to lead time.
Get a firm quote in 12 hours. Free. No obligation. Send your drawing (PDF, STEP, IGES, or DXF) and your target quantity. We will reply with a price, lead time, and any questions about tolerances or material.
