All custom CNC collet chucks are machined from solid bar or forged blank, then ground on the taper and bore. Heat treatment is done in-house with batch tracking. Hardness is tested on every batch, not every tenth part.
1. Batch-traceable quality. Each heat lot gets a unique code. We record material cert, heat treatment curve, and final inspection data. If a problem appears in your line, we trace it to the exact batch and date. No guesswork.
2. Inspection report per batch. You get a dimensional report for every batch, not a sample. CMM data for taper angle, runout, and slot width. Hardness test results. Material certs from the mill. This is standard, not an extra-cost option.
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Your collet chuck is not the only part you buy. If your assembly also needs a spring, a stamped retainer, or a heat sink, we make them under one roof. Fewer suppliers, fewer logistics headaches, one quality standard.

Q: What tolerance and runout can you guarantee? A: Standard is 0.005 mm on taper and 0.008 mm TIR at the nose. For high-precision jobs, we can hold 0.003 mm on taper and 0.005 mm TIR. This is verified on a test arbor before shipment.
Q: What is the lead time for a custom collet chuck? A: 15 working days for prototypes, 20 working days for production batches. If you need faster, we can split the batch and ship the first part in 10 days.
Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every batch comes with mill test certificates, heat treatment reports, and hardness test data. We keep records for 5 years.
