All gear blanks are stress-relieved before cutting. We rough and finish in separate setups to avoid thermal drift. For hardened racks, we grind after heat treat to hold the profile tolerance.
1. Batch-traceable quality. Every bar of steel is tagged with a heat number. Every machined gear gets a serial number laser-marked on a non-functional face. If a problem shows up in your assembly line, we trace it back to the exact batch, machine, and operator within one hour. No guesswork.
2. Inspection report per batch. You do not have to trust us. We send a full inspection report with each shipment: CMM data for tooth profile, lead, and pitch, plus material certificates and hardness readings. If you need a PPAP Level 3, we do that too. The report is signed by our QC manager, not a robot.
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink. Your rack and pinion gear rarely ships alone. It goes into an assembly with a stamped housing, a spring return, and a heatsink. We make all four in one building. One purchase order, one logistics point, one quality standard. You save freight, time, and vendor management headaches. Q: Do you really have no MOQ? A: Yes. We machine one-off prototypes for testing and full production runs for assembly lines. The setup cost is the same, so a single piece costs more per unit, but we do not force you to buy fifty pieces you do not need.
Q: What tolerance can you hold on a rack and pinion? A: Standard is ±0.01 mm on pitch and bore. For ground gears, we hold ±0.005 mm on tooth profile. We measure every part with a CMM and a gear tester. If your print specifies a tighter class, we quote it after reviewing the geometry.
Q: What is your typical lead time? A: 10 working days for prototypes in common steel grades. 15 working days for production batches up to 5,000 pieces. Heat treatment adds 3–5 days. We ship from Dongguan via air or sea, depending on your urgency.
Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every batch comes with a mill certificate for the raw material, a heat treatment report, and a dimensional inspection report. For aerospace or medical work, we add full traceability documentation at no extra cost.
