Runout kills bearings and seals. On axle shafts, sprocket carriers, and brake rotor spacers, we machine between centers or use a precision collet chuck with a hydraulic expansion arbor. This eliminates the deflection you get from a 3-jaw chuck. Our CNC lathes with C-axis milling capability cut the hex, keyway, and thread in one setup, so the datum never changes. Final runout is verified on a V-block with a dial indicator—every single part, not a sample.
We stock 6061-T6 aluminum for triple clamps and levers, 7075-T651 for rearsets and peg brackets, and 4140 chromoly steel for axles and pivot pins. For stainless parts, we use 304 and 316L. Heat treatment is done in-house or at our partner furnace: 4140 gets hardened to 28-32 HRC for axles, and 7075 gets T6 temper verification. If you need case-hardened 8620 steel, we do that too—up to 60 HRC case depth of 0.8mm. We do not use mystery alloys; every bar has a mill cert.
Motorcycle parts are not simple cubes. A brake pedal arm has a splined bore, a threaded hole for the master cylinder rod, and a counterbore for a bearing. We machine these features in a single clamping using a mill-turn center. Threads are cut, not rolled, to meet class 2A/3A specs. O-ring grooves are held to ±0.025mm on width and depth, and we deburr every edge with a ceramic brush or manual file depending on the feature. You will not find a sharp edge on any part we ship.
Standard machined finish is 1.6 Ra on functional surfaces and 0.8 Ra on sealing surfaces. If you want show-quality, we polish to 0.4 Ra. For aluminum parts, we offer clear or black hard anodizing to MIL-A-8625 type III—that gives a 50+ micron coating and a surface hardness of 60+ HRC equivalent. For steel parts, we apply zinc-nickel plating or black oxide. Every finish is tested for thickness and adhesion before we pack it.
We do not rely on the machine to tell us the part is good. Every batch goes through a CMM check on critical dimensions—bore diameters, hole positions, and concentricity. We also run a Rockwell hardness test on each heat-treated batch and include the reading on the certificate. Threads are checked with go/no-go plugs. A final visual inspection under 2x magnification catches scratches or tool marks. You get a PDF report with your shipment, and we keep records for 10 years.
We do not have a minimum order quantity. If you need one prototype fork clamp or a set of 50 custom footpeg brackets, we will run them. Our machines are set up for quick changeover—average setup time is 45 minutes—so we can afford to run small lots. This is why custom builders and race teams in Europe and North America keep coming back: they order 10 parts this month, 20 next month, and we hold the same tolerance every time. No MOQ, no minimum order value.
Threads get plastic caps or rubber plugs. Precision bores get anti-rust paper inserted. Each part is wrapped in VCI (vapor corrosion inhibitor) film, then placed in partitioned boxes with foam. We ship via DHL, FedEx, or UPS for small parcels (3-5 days to USA/EU), or by air freight for bulk orders (7-10 days). For large axles or swingarms, we use custom wooden crates with steel strapping. No part touches another part in transit.
