This is a CNC turning service where we use 2-axis and 3-axis lathes to machine cylindrical parts from bar stock or blanks. You get round parts with a diameter tolerance of ±0.005 mm, a surface finish down to Ra 0.4, and a total runout of 0.01 mm on critical diameters. Typical lead time is 7 days for standard materials, and we ship from our Dongguan factory with 20 years of precision manufacturing experience.
Runout is not a happy accident. We use hydraulic chucks and live tooling with pre-loaded bearings. Before each batch, we measure the spindle runout with a dial indicator — it must read under 0.003 mm. Then we machine a test ring, check it on a coordinate measuring machine, and only then start production. For long shafts, we use a steady rest to prevent deflection, which is why we can hold 0.01 mm total runout on parts up to 400 mm long. If you need tighter, we have a jig grinder step that can get you to 0.005 mm, but that adds 2 days to the lead time.
We keep round bar stock in 6061-T6 aluminum, 303 and 316 stainless steel, 12L14 free-cutting steel, and S45C medium carbon steel. For hardened parts, we machine in the soft state and then send out for heat treatment to 28-32 HRC, 38-42 HRC, or 48-52 HRC. After heat treatment, we do a final grinding pass on the OD and bore to restore tolerance. We also machine brass C36000 and copper C11000 for electrical components. If your drawing calls for a material we do not stock, we can source it in 3-4 days — ask us when you send your drawing.
Our standard lathe finish is Ra 1.6, but we routinely achieve Ra 0.4 with a wiper insert and a second finishing pass. For sealing surfaces or bearing journals, we can polish to Ra 0.2. All parts go through a manual deburring station — we use a microscope to catch edge breaks on cross holes and threads. We do not ship sharp edges unless your drawing explicitly says so. For cosmetic surfaces, we offer clear anodize or black oxide, but these add 3 days to the schedule.
Every batch gets a first-article inspection report. We measure all critical dimensions on a Zeiss CMM, record surface finish with a profilometer, and check runout on a V-block. You get the report as a PDF with your shipment. For stainless steel and aluminum, we include the mill test certificate. If you need PPAP level 3, we can do that — just tell us when you request the quote. We keep inspection records for 10 years, so you can trace any part back to the raw material lot and the operator.

Our lathes have live tooling, so we can mill flats, drill cross holes, and cut threads without a second operation. This eliminates re-clamping errors and cuts your cost per part. For threads, we use single-point inserts for pitches from 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm, and we can chase internal threads down to M2. We also do eccentric turning using a 4-jaw chuck when your design calls for it. If you have a complex part that needs both turning and milling, we will recommend which features stay on the lathe and which go to our 5-axis CNC mills — see our CNC cutting tool selection guide to understand how we choose inserts for each material.
We run two shifts, 6 days a week. Standard lead time is 7 days for quantities up to 5,000 pieces. For a single prototype, we can ship in 3 days if you approve the quote before 10 AM China time. We do not rush — we simply have the capacity and the tooling pre-set for common diameters. We keep the most-used collets and inserts on the shelf, so we do not wait for tooling orders. If your part needs a custom form tool, add 2 days for tool grinding. For high-volume orders (over 20,000 pieces), we move to a multi-spindle machine and the unit price drops by about 15%.
No MOQ — we accept one piece for prototyping and scale up to 50,000 pieces per month.
Yes — with live tooling, we can mill hex flats, drill cross holes, and cut keyways, so your part does not have to be purely round.
We use SPC sampling every 50 pieces, a final 100% check on critical diameters with an air gauge, and we provide a CMM report with the shipment.
For a simple shaft or bushing under 50 mm long, we can machine and ship in 3 days with DHL express, but this requires your drawing by 10 AM China time.
We know your budget matters. Holding ±0.005 mm is our standard, but if your part only needs ±0.02 mm, we can run it on a faster cycle and reduce the unit price by roughly 8%. Surface finish of Ra 1.6 is cheaper than Ra 0.4 because we skip the wiper pass. Always tell us the critical dimensions on your drawing — we will not over-engineer the process where it is not needed. If you are unsure what tolerance your design actually requires, read our CNC machining tolerances guide before you send the file. It will save you money.
We are a precision manufacturing company made in China, but we do not compete on price alone — we compete on repeatability. Our repeat customers order the same part every month and they know the dimensions will not drift. We keep your drawing on file, and we store your custom tooling for free. If you change a dimension, we update our program and send you a new first-article report before we run the batch. That is how we have kept engineers coming back for 20 years.
Send your drawing in STEP, IGES, or PDF format. Our engineers will check for manufacturability and reply with a firm quote within 12 hours. The quote includes the unit price, tooling cost (if any), lead time, and shipping options. We do not charge for quoting. If you need a quick answer, email us at sc@bquq.com or message us on WhatsApp at +86 13713157787. Include your target quantity and material preference, and we will do the rest. No MOQ, so start with one perfect part.
