This is a collection of helical spring antenna coils, produced by CNC coiling and precision grinding at BQUQ’s Dongguan factory. You get ±0.01 mm dimensional tolerance, 0.05 mm max total runout, and a consistent 48–52 HRC hardness across every batch—plus a 7-day lead time for prototype coils. No MOQ, no minimum order friction, and every coil is inspected before shipment.
We coil spring antenna elements from 0.10 mm to 5.00 mm wire diameter. Free length ranges from 3 mm to 200 mm, with outer diameter from 1.5 mm to 60 mm. Active coils can be specified from 2 to 50 turns. We hold pitch tolerance to ±0.02 mm per turn, and we can grind ends flat to 0.05 mm parallelism for vertical antenna mounting. If you need a tapered or conical helical coil for bandwidth tuning, we do that too—with the same tolerance stack.
For antenna coils, material choice affects both mechanical springback and electrical conductivity. We stock spring temper phosphor bronze (C5210), beryllium copper (C17200), and 302 stainless steel. Phosphor bronze gives you 45 HRC after age hardening; beryllium copper reaches 52 HRC with 25% IACS conductivity. All coils are stress-relieved at 315°C for 30 minutes after coiling, then passivated or nickel-plated if required. We do not use unknown-origin wire—every spool is certified with mill test reports.
Surface roughness on the coil wire is held to Ra 0.4 µm or better. This matters because a rough surface increases RF resistance at 2.4 GHz and above. We also break all sharp edges—wire ends are rounded to 0.05 mm radius—so there are no burrs that could cause corona discharge or arcing in high-power transmitters. If your design needs a gold flash for corrosion resistance, we apply 0.2–0.5 µm of hard gold over a nickel underlayer.
Total indicated runout (TIR) on the coil body is held to 0.05 mm max when measured against the center axis. We achieve this by using a CNC coiler with servo-driven pitch control and a laser micrometer that checks every coil’s outer diameter in real time. For long coils (over 50 mm free length), we add a straightening pass after heat treatment. This ensures your coil mounts true on a PCB or inside a radome without mechanical bending.
We inspect 100% of coils for OD, free length, and total coil count. For critical dimensions like pitch and runout, we use a AQL 0.65 sampling plan per ISO 2859-1. Each batch gets a full dimensional report with CMM data and a hardness test certificate. If you need a 3D scan of the coil geometry for your own records, we can provide that as a PDF or STEP file. No coil leaves the factory without a traceable lot number.

If you are still selecting the right tool for cutting or grinding these coils, our CNC cutting tool selection guide covers tool geometry for spring steels and copper alloys. For overall dimensional limits on your antenna housing or mounting bracket, check our CNC machining tolerances guide to avoid over-specifying.
There is no MOQ—we accept a single prototype coil for testing.
Yes, we adjust pitch and coil diameter per your RF simulation or drawing, and we can iterate within 48 hours.
We use 100% inspection for OD and length, plus AQL 0.65 for pitch and runout, with a full CMM report per lot.
Prototype coils ship in 7 days; production runs of up to 10,000 pieces ship in 15–20 days, and we can expedite to 10 days for an additional fee.
