Why Brass for Electrical Contacts: Conductivity and Spring Force

Brass (C26000, C26800, C27200) gives you 28% IACS conductivity — that is 28 million siemens per meter. That beats stainless steel by 40x and is only 15% below pure copper. Measurement and Inspection Before Every Shipment

Every batch — even a 100-piece sample — goes through a 2.5D optical projector and a digital micrometer. We measure 5 critical dimensions per part: contact gap, terminal width, bend angle, hole position, and surface finish. For batches over 10,000 pieces, we use a fully automated vision system that checks 100% of parts at 2,000 pieces per hour. Cpk is maintained above 1.67 on all critical features.
