Opening

Your drawing becomes a finished stamped zigzag heatsink in 15 days. We cut, form, and inspect every part to your print—not to a catalog standard. Before shipment, each batch gets a dimensional report and a surface finish check. If it doesn’t match your tolerance, it doesn’t leave Dongguan.

At a glance: ±0.05 mm stamping tolerance, 15-day lead time, no MOQ, batch-traceable from coil to carton.

Specifications

We run stamped zigzag heatsinks on 25-ton to 160-ton high-speed presses. Material is aluminum 1050, 1060, 5052, or 6061—your call. For higher thermal conductivity, we use 1050 or 1060. For structural rigidity, 5052 or 6061. Fin thickness ranges from 0.3 mm to 2.0 mm. Fin height goes up to 60 mm.

Custom Copper Embedded Heat Sinks

We also offer post-stamping options: deburring, tapping, riveting, or attaching a spring clip. All done in the same factory.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings 1. Batch-traceable quality. Every coil of aluminum has a lot number. We record it against your order. If a material issue appears, we trace it back to the exact batch—not guess. Each part gets a unique batch code on the carton.

2. Inspection report per batch. You don’t take our word. After stamping, we measure critical dimensions on a CMM and check surface finish with a profilometer. You receive a PDF report with actual values, not just a pass/fail line. If you need first-article inspection (FAI) with PPAP documents, we do that too.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink. Your stamped heatsink might need a CNC-machined base, a spring clip, or a threaded insert. We do all four lines under one roof. No third-party handoffs, no miscommunication, no extra freight. You send one drawing set; we deliver a fully assembled part.

Where these parts are used

Stamped zigzag heatsinks are common in power electronics and LED lighting. You’ll find them in:

  • LED drivers and modules—zigzag fins increase surface area without adding height, ideal for slim fixtures.
  • Switching power supplies—MOSFETs and diodes mount directly to the base; the zigzag pattern dissipates heat in confined enclosures.
  • Motor controllers—electric scooters, e-bikes, and industrial drives use these for IGBT cooling.
  • Telecom equipment—base stations and routers with passive cooling requirements.
  • Automotive electronics—headlamp drivers, battery management systems, and DC-DC converters.

If your application needs natural convection cooling in a tight space, a stamped zigzag heatsink is often the cheapest, lightest option.

Questions buyers ask before ordering Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We accept one prototype piece or a 10,000-piece production run. Tooling cost is quoted separately for new dies, but we keep it low—typically $300–$800 depending on complexity.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We use hard tooling (not soft dies) for repeatability. Every batch is checked on a CMM. We provide a dimensional report and material certificate with each shipment. If a part is out of spec, we replace it at no cost.

Q: What is your lead time? A: Samples in 7 days after tooling approval. Production in 15 days for standard sizes. For urgent orders, we can split shipments—send what’s ready first, then the rest.

Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We supply mill certificates for aluminum coils and any required RoHS or REACH declarations. For automotive or medical projects, we also provide full traceability documents.

Send your drawing Email your 2D or 3D file to sc@bquq.com. Include material, finish, and quantity if you know them. We’ll reply with a firm quote in 12 hours—not a range. If you need a recommendation on fin thickness or alloy, tell us your power dissipation and airflow, and we’ll suggest a design.

Precision manufacturing, custom heat sinks, made in China—with 20 years of stamping experience behind every part.
