Your drawing. Our machines. A heat sink that fits exactly where it must.
We machine and assemble swaged fin heat sinks to your print—no off-the-shelf compromises. Every unit is verified for fin pitch, base flatness, and press-fit integrity before it leaves our Dongguan factory.
We are a 20-year-old precision manufacturing shop in Dongguan, China. CNC machining, metal stamping, springs, and heat sinks run under one roof. Send a PDF or STEP file, and we will quote it as if it were our own part.
| Parameter | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Materials | 6063-T5, 6061-T6, C1100 copper | Aluminum default; copper for high-wattage apps |
| Fin thickness | 0.3 – 1.0 mm | Swaged from strip, not machined |
| Fin pitch | 2.0 – 8.0 mm | Controlled by die, repeatable within ±0.1 mm |
| Base thickness | 1.5 – 10.0 mm | CNC milled to ±0.05 mm |
| Base flatness | ≤0.05 mm over 100 mm length | Verified on granite plate |
| Surface finish | Clear anodize, black anodize, or bare | Mil-spec Type II anodize available |
| Max part size | 400 × 300 × 150 mm | Larger on request with tooling review |
| Process | Swaging + CNC finishing | Stamping for mounting clips/brackets |
| Inspection | CMM, pin gauge, visual per AQL 2.5 | Full report with each batch |
| Batch size | 1 – 50,000+ | No MOQ, but tooling amortized for >500 pcs |
| Lead time | 10 days prototype, 20 days production | Faster for standard alloys |
Swaging presses aluminum fins into pre-milled base grooves. The joint is mechanical—no solder, no epoxy. That means higher thermal conductivity at the fin-base interface and no risk of adhesive degradation at 150 °C. We then CNC-machine the base to your exact footprint, including mounting holes, standoffs, or a contoured interface for your IGBT or CPU package.
1. Batch-traceable quality. Each lot gets a unique job number. We record material heat number, machine operator, and inspection results for that batch. If a part fails in the field, we can trace it to the exact extrusion batch and shift. You get a PDF traceability report with every shipment.
2. Inspection report per batch. We do not just say “it’s good.” You receive dimensional measurements—base thickness, fin height, flatness, and hole positions—taken on a CMM. For critical dimensions, we include the raw data. No surprises at your incoming QC.
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sink. Your heat sink often needs a stamped clip, a spring-loaded fastener, or a CNC-machined mounting plate. We make all of it in-house. One purchase order, one quality system, one shipping date. You avoid the headache of coordinating three suppliers in three time zones.
Swaged fin heat sinks are not for phone cases. They are for equipment that pulls real current and dissipates real watts.
If your application involves forced convection, a swaged fin heat sink is often the cheapest way to get maximum surface area in a given envelope. We have made them for automotive battery testers, welding machines, and even high-power LED stadium lights.

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We will make one prototype for your validation. For production, we suggest ordering at least 200 pieces to amortize the swaging die cost. The die is a simple steel form, typically $300–$800 depending on fin pitch and length.
Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We machine the base after swaging, so critical dimensions are always within ±0.05 mm. Fin pitch is set by the die, and we verify it with a pin gauge on the first article and every 50th piece during production. A full dimensional report is included with each batch.
Q: What is the lead time for custom heat sinks? A: Prototype (1–10 pcs): 10 working days after drawing approval. Production (100+ pcs): 20–25 working days. If you need faster, we can machine a billet heat sink in 5 days while the swaging die is being made.
Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We provide an EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate for aluminum or copper, plus our own incoming inspection record. For aerospace or medical applications, we can also provide full chemical composition and mechanical property data.
