Custom CNC Machined Auto Lathe 52 Type Square Bore Spring Co

We use CNC lathes for the blank, then quench in a vacuum furnace to avoid decarburization. Final bore grinding is done on a jig grinder with a 0.005 mm resolution. Slots are cut after hardening to prevent distortion.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every heat number and batch is recorded. If you need to trace a part back to its material lot, we can do that in minutes. We keep records for 5 years.

2. Inspection report per batch. You get a dimensional report with every shipment. Bore ID, OD, hardness, and slot width are all measured and documented. No surprises at your incoming QC.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink. Your collet chuck is not the only part you buy. We also make springs, stampings, and heatsinks under one roof. Fewer suppliers, fewer emails, one quality standard.

Where these parts are used

A 25 type round bore collet is a workhorse in high-volume turning. You will find it in:

  • Auto lathes for watch and clock parts – pinions, gears, balance staffs. The quenched bore holds tight tolerance over thousands of cycles.
  • Medical device manufacturing – small bone screws, dental implant posts. The 0.005 mm bore repeatability keeps thread cutting consistent.
  • Electronic connector pins – brass and beryllium copper pins, 1–5 mm diameter. The collet grips without marking the surface.
  • Fastener production – screw blanks and rivets. Quenched steel resists wear from abrasive materials like stainless steel.
  • Automotive fuel injector components – needle valves and nozzles. The bore finish prevents micro-scratches that cause leakage.

In all these cases, the collet is the last thing between the raw bar and the finished part. If it fails, you scrap the whole batch. That is why we quench and grind, not just turn and ship.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one piece for prototypes and scale to 10,000 pieces without changing the process. You pay a small setup fee for single units, but the per-piece price drops sharply at 100+ pieces.

Q: How do you guarantee 0.005 mm tolerance after quenching? A: We grind the bore after heat treatment, not before. The blank is turned with 0.2 mm stock left on the bore. After quenching, we grind to final size. This removes distortion from the heat treat step. Each bore is checked with an air gauge.

Q: What is your typical lead time? A: 7 working days for prototypes, 15 working days for production batches. If you need a rush, we can do 5 days for standard materials like 65Mn. We do not quote faster than we can deliver.

Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We supply mill certificates for the raw material and our own heat treat report showing the quench temperature and hardness curve. Both are included free with every order.
