Opening

Your 36 type collet is machined to your exact drawing, not a stock approximation. We verify every critical dimension before shipment.

  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on bore and taper
  • Lead time: 7–10 days for prototypes, 15–20 days for production runs
  • No MOQ: order one piece or ten thousand
  • Material: 20CrMnTi, 40Cr, or 65Mn steel, case-hardened to 58–62 HRC

We are a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China, with 20 years of CNC machining experience. Our auto lathe line is dedicated to collet chucks, so your parts are not mixed with general machining jobs.

Custom CNC Collet Chuck 25 Type Triangle Bore Spring Collet

We use CNC Swiss-type auto lathes for the body, then internal grinding for the bore. Slots are cut by wire EDM to avoid burrs on the gripping surface. Each collet is tested with a master taper gauge before packing.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every heat number and batch is recorded. If you need to trace a collet back to its raw material, we can do that in minutes. No mixed batches, no mystery steel.

2. Inspection report per batch. You get a dimensional report with every order. Bore size, taper angle, hardness, and surface finish are all measured and documented. We do not ship without the report.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink. Your collet chuck may need a spring, a stamped retainer, or a heatsink for a high-speed spindle. We make all of these in-house. One PO, one quality standard, one shipping date. No coordination between multiple suppliers.

Where these parts are used

Custom CNC collet chucks are not limited to lathes. Our 36 type collets are used in:

  • Swiss-type automatic lathes for medical screw and implant production
  • CNC turning centers for valve stems and hydraulic fittings
  • High-speed spindle tool holders for PCB drilling
  • Spring collets in automotive fuel injector assembly lines
  • Custom fixtures for optical lens polishing machines

In each case, the collet must hold round bar stock with zero runout. Our ±0.005 mm bore tolerance ensures that. If your application requires a non-standard bore, we machine it to your drawing.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We accept one-piece orders for prototypes. Production pricing starts at 100 pieces, but you can order less.

Q: What tolerance can you hold on the bore? A: ±0.005 mm on the bore diameter, ±0.5° on the taper angle. We verify with a bore gauge and a master taper. If you need tighter, we can discuss grinding on a jig.

Q: What is your lead time for a custom collet? A: 7 days for up to 100 pieces, 15 days for 1,000 pieces. If you need faster, we can split the batch and ship partial quantities.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every batch comes with a mill certificate for the steel. We also provide hardness test reports and dimensional inspection reports at no extra cost.

Send your drawing
