Custom CNC Collet Chuck Auto Lathe 60 Type Round Bore

We do not use substandard blanks. Each collet starts from a certified bar, machined on our own CNC lathes and ground on internal grinders. Slotting is done with wire EDM for clean, burr-free edges.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every batch gets a unique lot number. We record material heat number, machine operator, and inspection results. If you have a problem on your line, we can trace it back to the exact day and shift. That is not common for collet suppliers.

2. Inspection report per batch. You do not have to trust us. We send you a PDF with actual measured values: bore diameter, taper angle, concentricity, hardness. You can verify every number with your own gauge. If something is out, we replace it at no cost.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. We are not a trading company. Under one roof, we run CNC machining, metal stamping, spring coiling, and heat sink fabrication. If your collet is part of a larger assembly—say, a spring-loaded chuck or a stamped housing—we make all of it. Fewer vendors, faster lead times, one responsible party.

Where these parts are used

A Type 15 collet with a small round bar bore is a workhorse in high-volume turning. Typical applications:

  • Auto lathes (cam-operated): Feeding 1–8 mm round bar for screws, pins, and bushings.
  • Swiss-type CNC lathes: Holding 3–15 mm bar stock for medical screws, dental implants, and watch parts.
  • Pneumatic collet chucks: Secondary operations on pre-machined round parts, where quick changeover matters.
  • Hydraulic chucks: For high-speed spindle applications that need repeatable clamping force.

Buyers in automotive, medical device, and electronics assembly use these collets because they hold round bar with zero marring and less than 0.01 mm runout. That means longer tool life and fewer rejected parts downstream.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: Is there a minimum order quantity? A: No. We make one piece for prototypes and full batches for production. Same tolerance, same inspection. No MOQ is our standard policy for custom CNC collet chucks.

Q: What tolerance can you hold on the bore and taper? A: ±0.005 mm on both. Concentricity between bore and taper is ≤0.008 mm. We verify every piece with an air gauge and a taper tester, not just a sample.

Q: What is your lead time for a custom collet? A: 7 days for prototypes after drawing approval. Production batches of 100–1,000 pieces ship in 10–12 days. If you need faster, we can split the batch and ship partial quantities.

Q: Do you provide material certificates and heat treatment reports? A: Yes. Every batch includes a material certificate (with heat number) and a heat treatment report showing hardness and case depth. These are included free of charge.
