Your drawing defines the part. We machine it. That is the whole process.
This is a 630 type round bore spring collet chuck for auto lathes. We make it to your exact dimensions. Not from stock. Not from a catalog. From your print.
Before shipment, every chuck is verified on a CMM. You get the report. No surprises.
We are a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China. 20 years in CNC machining, stamping, springs, and heat sinks. The collet chuck is not a side project. It is core work.

We use CNC grinding for the bore and taper. Slits are cut by wire EDM. This gives clean edges and consistent spring action. No burrs. No drift.
1. Batch-traceable quality. Every batch gets a unique lot number. We track material, heat treatment, and grinding parameters for that lot. If you have a problem, we trace it back to the exact operation. You get full documentation. This is not a luxury. It is standard for us.
2. Inspection report per batch. You do not have to ask for it. It is included. The report covers bore diameter, taper angle, hardness, and surface finish. We use a CMM and a Rockwell hardness tester. The numbers are real. We sign them.
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Your collet chuck is often part of a larger assembly. We make the chuck. We also make the spring inside it, the stamped housing, and the heat sink if you need one. One vendor. One quality system. One shipping point. Less coordination, fewer delays.
The 630 type round bore collet chuck is for workholding on automatic lathes. It grips round bar stock during turning, threading, and parting operations.
These chucks run at high spindle speeds. They need consistent clamping force and repeatable concentricity. Our slit geometry and heat treatment give you that. Run them at 8,000 RPM. They hold.
Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one prototype for you to test. Then you decide on production quantity. Many buyers start with 5-10 pieces to validate fit and performance.
Q: How do you control tolerance and quality? A: We grind the bore and taper to ±0.005 mm. After heat treatment, we re-grind to correct any distortion. Every piece is checked on a CMM. You get the inspection report with the shipment.
Q: What is your lead time? A: Prototype: 10-15 working days after drawing approval. Production: 20-30 working days. If you need faster, tell us. We can split the batch or run overtime.
Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We provide mill certificates for the raw material, heat treatment records, and our own inspection report. All traceable to your batch number.
Send us your print. We will quote you within 12 hours.
We will confirm material, tolerance, and lead time. If your drawing has issues, we will tell you before we quote. That is how we work.
