Opening

Your drawing defines the bore shape. We machine it exactly to that geometry. Every collet is verified before shipment. No exceptions.

This is a collection of CNC machined auto lathe collet bore shapes. Round, hex, square, spline, or custom profile. We cut them from solid bar stock on Swiss-type or CNC lathes. Then we grind the bore to final tolerance.

  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on bore diameter
  • Surface finish: Ra 0.4 µm or better
  • Lead time: 7–15 days for standard shapes
  • No MOQ — order one piece or one thousand
  • Material certs included with every batch

We are a factory in Dongguan, China. 20 years in precision manufacturing. You send the drawing. We send back a firm quote in 12 hours.

Custom CNC Collet Chuck 48 Type Round Bore Auto Lathe

We hold bore geometry with a dedicated form grinder. Not a universal grinder. That is why we hold ±0.005 mm consistently.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every batch gets a unique job number. Raw material heat number is recorded. Heat treatment parameters are logged. If you need to trace a part back to its steel melt, we can do that in minutes. We keep records for 10 years.

2. Inspection report per batch. You get a full dimensional report with every shipment. CMM data, surface roughness readings, hardness test results. Not a generic certificate. Real numbers from the actual parts we ship. If a dimension is out, we flag it before shipping. You never get a surprise.

3. One factory for CNC, stamping, springs, and heat sinks. Your collet chuck is not the only part you buy. We also run stamping presses, spring coiling machines, and a heat sink production line. That means you consolidate vendors. One purchase order, one quality system, one shipping point. Fewer audits, fewer logistics headaches, lower total cost.

Where these parts are used

CNC collet chucks are not a single industry product. They show up in every shop that turns bar stock.

  • Swiss-type lathe work. Guide bushings and collets for medical bone screws, dental implants, and small watch components. Bore shapes match the hex or spline of the raw material.
  • Automatic screw machines. Collets for brass fittings, electrical terminals, and valve components. Hex and square bores hold shaped stock without slipping.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic fittings. Collets with internal profiles for O-ring grooves or tapered seats. Surface finish matters here — a rough bore tears the seal.
  • Fastener manufacturing. Collets for hex head bolts and socket screws. The bore shape must index the hex precisely to prevent die wear.
  • Aerospace and defense. Custom collets for titanium and Inconel bar stock. Tight concentricity prevents chatter and tool breakage at high spindle speeds.
  • Heat sink production. We machine collets that hold aluminum bar for our own heat sink line. That is why we understand the tolerance stack from raw material to finished fin.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We machine one piece for prototyping or 100,000 for production. The unit price drops with quantity, but you are never forced to over-order.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We grind the bore after heat treatment. Then we measure every critical dimension with a CMM and a digital bore gauge. The inspection report is included with the shipment. If you find a bad part, we replace it at no cost, including freight.

Q: What is your standard lead time? A: 7 days for standard round or hex bores from stock material. 15 days for complex profiles or hardened materials. We can rush a single prototype in 48 hours if you need it for a trial run.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Each batch comes with a mill test certificate for the raw material. For hardened parts, we include a hardness report. For aerospace or medical work, we can supply full traceability documentation.

Send your drawing

We quote from a PDF, STEP, or even a hand sketch. Send us the bore shape, material, and quantity. We will confirm the machining process and delivery date.

Firm quote in 12 hours. No obligation. No MOQ. Made in China, but with precision manufacturing standards that match any shop in Germany or Japan.
