Custom CNC Collet Chuck Auto Lathe 45 Type Round Bore

Every collet chuck is machined from solid bar stock. We do not use castings or blanks. This gives you consistent grain structure and predictable hardness. The hex bore is cut with wire EDM after heat treatment, so the profile stays sharp and the tolerance holds under repeated clamping.

T

hree reasons buyers send us their drawings 1. Batch-traceable quality. Each batch gets a unique heat number and work order. Material certs, heat treatment records, and inspection data are all linked to that number. If a problem shows up on your line, we trace it in minutes, not days.

2. Inspection report per batch. You get a full dimensional report with every shipment. CMM data, hardness readings, surface roughness values. No sampling. We measure 100% of critical dimensions on every piece.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Your collet chuck is not the only part you buy. We also run metal stamping, spring winding, and heat sink lines. Combine your orders in one shipment. One supplier, one invoice, one quality standard. This cuts your logistics cost and your vendor management time.

W

here these parts are used Custom CNC collet chucks with hex bores are for automatic lathes that feed hex bar stock. Typical applications:

  • Fastener production — clamping hex blanks for screws, bolts, and nuts on multi-spindle autos.
  • Hydraulic fittings — machining hex ends on brass and steel fittings without secondary milling.
  • Electrical connectors — precision hex bores for terminal pins and contact parts in relay housings.
  • Automotive components — fuel injector bodies, brake valve stems, and sensor housings that need hex drive features.
  • Medical devices — small hex drivers and bone screw blanks, where surface finish and tolerance are critical.

The 36 type chuck fits standard auto lathe spindles (e.g., Citizen, Star, Tsugami, and domestic Chinese machines). If your spindle is non-standard, we adjust the OD and taper to match. You send the drawing. We make it fit.

Q

uestions buyers ask before ordering Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one prototype for your approval, then scale to your production volume. Tooling is set up per order, so small batches do not carry extra cost.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We machine to ±0.005 mm on the bore. After heat treatment, we grind the bore and OD. Every part is checked on a CMM. The inspection report is included with your shipment. If any part is out of spec, we replace it at no cost.

Q: What is your lead time? A: Prototypes ship in 15 days. Production orders ship in 20 days, depending on quantity and material availability. For urgent orders, we can split the batch and ship the first pieces in 7 days.

Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every batch comes with EN 10204 3.1 material certs, heat treatment reports, and hardness test data. We can also provide third-party inspection (SGS, TUV) at your request.
