Opening

Your drawing defines the part. We build it. Every custom CNC collet chuck is machined to your exact geometry, then verified on our own CMM before shipment. We do not ship unmeasured parts.

  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on critical diameters
  • Surface finish: Ra 0.2 µm mirror polish
  • Lead time: 7–12 working days for prototypes
  • No MOQ – order one piece or one thousand
  • Material certs included with every batch

This is a 36-type auto lathe collet chuck. It fits standard 36 mm spindle bores. We machine the taper, the slots, and the thread to your spec. We polish the gripping surface to mirror finish so your bar stock does not mark.

Custom CNC Collet Chuck 630 Type Auto Lathe Round Bore

We use CNC lathes with live tooling for the body. Wire EDM cuts the slots without burr. Then we lap the taper and polish the bore. Every chuck gets a serial number. You can trace it back to the heat treatment batch.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Each heat treatment lot is numbered. Each machining batch gets its own inspection record. If a problem appears in your production, we can pull the exact process data for that serial number. No guesswork.

2. Inspection report per batch. You receive a dimensional report with every shipment. It lists all critical features: taper angle, concentricity, slot width, hardness. Our QC signs it. If you need third-party inspection, we arrange it at cost.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. You send us one drawing package. We handle the collet chuck, the spring collet, the stamped washer, and the heat sink for your spindle drive. One purchase order, one logistics point, one quality system. This is precision manufacturing done the way engineers want it – no middlemen.

Where these parts are used

  • Swiss-type auto lathes – bar feeding and gripping for small diameter parts
  • CNC turning centers – workholding for hex, square, and round bar stock
  • Medical device manufacturing – where surface finish matters and contamination is not acceptable
  • Watch and jewelry machining – mirror polish prevents micro-scratches on precious metals
  • Automotive fuel injector components – high cycle gripping with repeatable concentricity
  • Aerospace fasteners – where traceability and material certs are mandatory

If you run a 36-type spindle, this chuck replaces your worn or non-concentric unit. We can match existing dimensions or design a new profile from your part drawing.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? No MOQ. We machine one piece for sample validation. Production runs start at 50 pieces. You pay the same unit price from piece 1 to piece 10,000.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? We use a calibrated CMM for final inspection. Every critical dimension is measured and recorded. The report is included in the shipment. If any dimension is out of spec, we rework or replace at no cost.

Q: What is your lead time? Standard lead time is 7 working days for samples, 15 working days for production. For urgent orders, we can expedite to 5 days for samples at a 10% surcharge.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? Yes. Every batch includes a mill certificate for the raw material. If you need heat treatment certificates, hardness test reports, or RoHS/REACH declarations, we provide them with the shipment.
