This is a 46 type auto lathe spring collet with a triangle bore, machined to your exact drawing. We do not stock generic blanks and modify them. We start from raw bar stock and cut every feature—bore profile, slot geometry, and back taper—to your print.
Every collet is verified before shipment. We use a CMM and a go/no-go gauge set matched to your workpiece diameter. If the bore does not seat your part within the specified tolerance, it does not ship.

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every heat lot is assigned a number. We record material cert, heat treatment furnace cycle, and final inspection data against that number. If a collet fails in your machine six months from now, we can trace it back to the exact bar stock and process parameters. You get a full traceability document with each shipment.
2. Inspection report per batch. We do not sample one part and assume the rest are fine. Each collet is checked for bore size, slot width, and hardness. For batches over 100 pieces, we include a variable data report showing the distribution of bore measurements. You know exactly what you are receiving, not what we hope you are receiving.
3. One factory for CNC, stamping, springs, and heat sinks. Your collet is not the only part in your assembly. You likely need a spring, a stamped retainer, or a heat sink for the spindle drive. We make all of them under one roof. That means one purchase order, one quality system, one shipping date. No coordinating three suppliers and hoping their tolerances match.

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one piece for a prototype and 10,000 pieces for production. The unit price drops with quantity, but we do not force you to buy more than you need.
Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We grind the bore after heat treatment, not before. That is the only way to hold ±0.005 mm. Each collet is measured on a CMM, and we send the inspection report with the shipment. If a part is out of spec, we replace it at no cost.
Q: What is your lead time? A: 7 days for a prototype or small batch. 12 days for production quantities. We run three shifts on the CNC line, so we do not quote long lead times to make our schedule look better.
Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We supply mill certificates from the steel mill, our own heat treatment report, and a hardness test certificate. All documents are in English and are included with the packing list.
