Opening

We machine copper skived fin heatsinks to your exact drawing. No redesigns. No guesswork. Every unit is verified before shipment.

This collection covers fin heights from 10 mm to 80 mm, base thickness from 2 mm to 15 mm, and overall lengths up to 600 mm. Typical flatness tolerance is 0.05 mm over 100 mm. Lead time is 10–15 working days for prototypes, 20–25 days for production runs. No MOQ. One piece or ten thousand, same process control.

Custom IGBT Heatsink Black Anodized

All skiving is done on a dedicated 3-axis CNC machine with a custom carbide tool. We control tool wear by measuring fin thickness every 50 pieces. Deburring is manual, then verified under magnification. You get a dimensional report per batch, not just a box of parts.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every heatsink gets a unique batch number. We store material certificates, tool settings, and inspection data for each batch for 3 years. If a field failure happens, you can trace it back to the exact copper lot and machine run. That is not common for custom heat sinks made in China, but we do it as standard.

  • Material mill certificate
  • Dimensional measurements (key features, 5 samples per batch)
  • Flatness and roughness readings
  • Photos of the actual parts

The report is signed by the QC lead. If any dimension is out of tolerance, we reject the batch before it ships. You do not have to re-inspect everything on arrival.

3. One factory for CNC, stamping, springs, and heatsinks. BQUQ runs four production lines under one roof. Your heatsink might need a stamped clip, a CNC-machined base, or a spring for mounting. We make all of them in-house. No third-party coordination, no shipping delays between suppliers. One purchase order, one quality standard, one responsible engineer.

Where these parts are used

  • IGBT modules in inverters and motor drives
  • Laser diode mounts and optical transceivers
  • High-power LED arrays in stadium lighting
  • CPU and GPU coolers for servers
  • Medical imaging equipment (CT, MRI power supplies)
  • RF power amplifiers in telecom base stations

Skived fins give you a solid base with no thermal interface between fins and base. That means lower thermal resistance than stamped or bonded fin stacks. For a 100 mm x 100 mm base with 20 mm fins, you can expect thermal resistance around 0.25 °C/W at 2 m/s airflow. If you need a specific simulation, send us your boundary conditions.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: None. We accept one-piece prototypes and scale to 10,000 pieces. The unit price is higher for small batches, but the process and inspection are identical.

Q: How do you control tolerance and quality? A: We use CMM and optical comparators for critical dimensions. Flatness is checked on a granite plate with a dial indicator. Each batch gets a dimensional report. If you need first-article inspection (FAI) per AS9102 or PPAP, we can do that too.

Q: What is the lead time for custom heat sinks? A: Prototypes (1–10 pcs) ship in 10–15 working days after drawing approval. Production runs (100+ pcs) take 20–25 working days. For urgent orders, we can split the batch and air-ship the first 20 pieces.

Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We supply mill certificates for all copper grades. C1020 is oxygen-free copper with 101% IACS conductivity. C1100 is electrolytic tough pitch copper, 100% IACS. We also provide RoHS and REACH declarations if required.

Send your drawing

Email your 2D or 3D file to sc@bquq.com. We reply with a firm quote within 12 hours. Include your target quantity, surface finish, and any thermal requirements. If you are not sure about fin geometry, we will suggest a design based on your heat load and airflow.

Precision manufacturing for custom heat sinks is our core business. Made in China, but with traceable quality and no MOQ.
