Opening

Your drawing defines the part. Our job is to hold every dimension on it. We machine copper skived fin heatsinks from solid C1100 or C1020 copper blocks. Skiving produces tall, thin fins with no interface gap between fin and base. That means direct heat transfer and lower thermal resistance than bonded or folded fin assemblies.

We verify every critical dimension before shipment. A CMM report and surface finish check go out with your batch. If it does not match your drawing, we do not ship it.

  • Tolerance: ±0.05 mm on fin pitch, ±0.1 mm on overall height
  • Lead time: 10–15 working days for prototypes, 15–20 for production runs
  • No MOQ – send one drawing or one thousand
  • Material: C1100 (ETP) or C1020 (OFHC) copper, or aluminum 6063-T5 if you need lighter weight

Custom Round LED Bulb Heatsink

All heatsinks are deburred and cleaned. No sharp edges on fins. We can add pre-tapped holes, threaded studs, or spring clips per your assembly method.

Three Reasons Buyers Send Us Their Drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every batch gets a unique job number. Material certificates, inspection results, and process records are stored for 5 years. If a field failure happens, we trace back to the exact copper lot and machine operator. You get full visibility, not just a box of parts.

2. Inspection report per batch. We do not guess. Each batch ships with a dimensional report covering critical features: fin height, pitch, base flatness, and surface roughness. For high-volume orders, we use statistical process control and sample every 50 pieces. You receive the data, not just a promise.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink. Your assembly may need a stamped mounting bracket, a compression spring for retention, or a CNC-machined base plate. We make all four in one facility. No multi-vendor coordination, no tolerance stacking across suppliers, one shipping address. This cuts your lead time by 20–30% and removes quality disputes.

Where These Parts Are Used

Copper skived fin heatsinks handle high heat flux in compact spaces. Typical applications:

  • IGBT modules and power converters – base plates with 3–5 mm fins for forced air cooling in industrial drives
  • Laser diode mounts – C1020 OFHC copper for high-frequency switching, fin height up to 60 mm
  • Telecom base station amplifiers – low-profile heatsinks with mounting holes for PCB attachment, 10–20 mm tall
  • Electric vehicle battery management systems – liquid-cooled copper cold plates with skived fins for cell-to-cell temperature balancing
  • Medical imaging equipment (MRI, CT scanners) – non-magnetic copper heatsinks, no ferrous inserts
  • High-power LED arrays – round or rectangular bases with radial fins for natural convection

If your application runs hot and space is tight, skived copper is usually the right answer.

Questions Buyers Ask Before Ordering

Q: Do you really have no MOQ? A: Correct. We accept one piece for prototyping. For production, we offer tiered pricing – the unit price drops at 100, 500, and 1000 pieces. Tooling is free for standard fin patterns; custom fixtures cost $150–$400, amortized into the first order.

Q: What tolerance and quality can you guarantee? A: Standard tolerance is ±0.05 mm on fin pitch and ±0.1 mm on height. Base flatness is ≤0.05 mm over 100 mm. We include a CMM report with every shipment. If you need tighter, we can hold ±0.02 mm on critical features at a small cost increase.

Q: What is your typical lead time? A: Prototypes ship in 10–15 working days after drawing approval. Production runs take 15–20 working days. If you need faster, we can expedite prototypes in 7 days for a 15% surcharge. We ship worldwide via DHL, FedEx, or sea freight.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every copper batch comes with a mill certificate showing chemical composition and conductivity. For C1020, we provide oxygen content analysis. Certificates are included free with every order.
