Custom CNC Collet Chuck 46 Type Round Bore Extended, Made in

We do not outsource the critical steps. Turning, slotting, hardening, and grinding are all inside our factory. That is how we hold the numbers above.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every collet set gets a batch number. That number is tied to the heat treatment furnace log, the machinist, and the CMM report. If you find an issue six months later, we can pull the exact records for that batch. No guesswork.

2. Inspection report per batch. You do not have to ask for the report. It ships with the parts. Each report lists bore diameter, taper angle, concentricity, and hardness for every collet in the set. PDF copy goes to your email the day we ship.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sink. You are not just buying a collet chuck. You are buying a supply chain. If your assembly needs a stamped cover, a compression spring, or an aluminum heat sink, we make those too. One purchase order, one quality system, one freight bill. That is precision manufacturing without the headache of juggling three vendors.

Where these parts are used

Heavy-series auto lathe collets are for machines that do not stop. They hold bar stock and forgings on multi-spindle automatics, Swiss-type lathes, and CNC turning centers.

  • Holding 50-60 mm round bar for hydraulic valve bodies
  • Gripping forged gear blanks on a twin-spindle CNC lathe
  • Clamping thick-walled tube for oilfield connector machining
  • Securing hardened steel shafts for automotive steering components

The heavy series means thicker walls and more gripping force. That is for interrupted cuts, hard materials, and long cycle times where a light collet would flex.

If your part is over 50 mm and you are fighting runout, this set is the fix.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is the minimum order quantity? A: No MOQ. We make one set for prototype or 1,000 sets for production. The unit price drops with quantity, but we do not turn away a single set.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We cut to your drawing, not to a catalog. Each collet is measured on a CMM. The bore is held to ±0.005 mm, taper to ±0.01°. You get the inspection report with the shipment. If a part is out of spec, we replace it at our cost.

Q: What is the lead time for a custom CNC collet chuck? A: Standard heavy-series sets ship in 10-15 working days. If you need a rush, we can do 5-7 days for an additional 20% expedite fee. Heat treatment is the bottleneck, and we run our own furnace, so we control that schedule.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every batch comes with a mill certificate for the raw material and our own heat treatment report. If your customer requires third-party testing, we can arrange SGS or TUV inspection at cost.

Send your drawing

Do not send us a screenshot. Send the actual DXF, STEP, or PDF with dimensions and tolerances.

We will check the design for manufacturability, confirm the material and hardness, and send you a firm quote within 12 hours.
