Opening

Your drawing defines the part. We machine it. Before any box leaves our Dongguan floor, every CNC collet chuck is checked on a CMM and a test run with a master collet. You get a part that seats true, grips concentric, and repeats within 0.005 mm.

  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on critical diameters
  • Surface finish: Ra 0.4 µm on taper and gripping surfaces
  • Lead time: 15–20 working days for custom CNC collet chuck
  • Batch: 1 piece to 10,000 pieces, no MOQ
  • Material certs: mill test reports included with every batch

We are a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China, with 20 years on CNC machining lines. Your chuck is not a side job. It is our core work.

Precision CNC Machined 5C Collet Set

We use Mazak and Doosan CNC lathes with live tooling. Grinding is done on Studer cylindrical grinders. No shortcuts on heat treatment—we run carburizing in-house with batch tracking.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality Each custom CNC collet chuck gets a heat number and a work order number. If you need to trace a batch back to the steel coil and the operator, we have the records. No guesswork. No mixed batches.

2. Inspection report per batch You do not have to ask. Every shipment includes a dimensional inspection report with actual measured values, not just a pass/fail stamp. For critical tapers, we include a roundness and runout chart. This saves your incoming QC hours.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks Your chuck may sit in an assembly with a stamped housing, a compression spring, and a heat sink. We make all four. You send one drawing package, get one quote, one quality system, one shipping point. Fewer suppliers, fewer delays, fewer arguments.

Where these parts are used

Our CNC collet chucks go into workholding systems for lathes, milling centers, and grinding machines. Common end uses:

  • Automatic lathe spindles for high-volume turning of small precision parts (watch components, medical screws, electronic pins)
  • Rotary transfer machines in automotive fuel injector production
  • Tool presetters and inspection fixtures where repeatable clamping is mandatory
  • Custom fixtures for Swiss-type CNC lathes in the aerospace fastener industry
  • Replacement chucks for aging machines where the original supplier no longer exists

In every case, the chuck is the last thing between the spindle and the workpiece. If it wobbles, the part fails. Our tapers are ground to match your master collet, not just to a nominal angle.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We machine one piece for a prototype or 10,000 for production. The unit price drops with quantity, but the first piece gets the same inspection as the last.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We grind the taper and gripping diameters in the same setup to eliminate concentricity error. Every piece is measured on a CMM. We send you the report. If a part is out of spec, we replace it at no cost.

Q: What is your lead time for a custom CNC collet chuck? A: 15 working days for a prototype after drawing approval. Production runs of 100+ pieces take 20 working days. Urgent orders can be expedited to 10 days with a small surcharge.

Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Mill test reports for the raw steel, heat treatment certificates, and hardness test reports are included with every batch. We also keep samples for 12 months.
