What These Brackets Are and Why Your Assembly Line Will Move Faster CNC Machined Aircraft Brackets are load-bearing structural components machined from solid aluminum, titanium, or stainless steel bl
CNC Machined Aircraft Brackets are load-bearing structural components machined from solid aluminum, titanium, or stainless steel blocks. They replace welded or cast parts with a single-piece design that eliminates stress risers and hidden porosity. You get dimensional accuracy of ±0.005 mm, a surface finish down to Ra 0.4 µm, and a runout of 0.01 mm on critical mounting faces. That means your actuators, sensors, and cable trays bolt on without shimming or rework, cutting your assembly time by roughly 18% based on our customer feedback from 2023–2024.
Bent sheet metal brackets flex under vibration and crack at the bend radius after 50,000 cycles. A machined block has continuous grain flow, so it holds its shape under repeated load. For a typical flap actuator bracket, we hold a flatness of 0.02 mm across a 150 mm face. That is 4 times tighter than a stamped part. If your design needs a complex profile with lightening holes or a tapered web, a 5-axis CNC mill does it in one setup, holding true position of mounting holes to Ø 0.05 mm.
We stock 7075-T6 aluminum (yield strength 503 MPa), 6061-T6, Ti-6Al-4V (grade 5), and 17-4PH stainless steel. For aluminum, we do a T6 solution treatment and artificial aging to guarantee hardness between 150 and 190 HB. For steel and titanium, we finish with stress relief and, if specified, passivation or hard anodizing to MIL-A-8625 Type III. Our heat treatment partner is Nadcap-accredited, and every batch ships with a material certificate traceable to the mill source.
Runout on a hinge bore is what causes uneven wear on your pivot pins. We machine bores with a Ø 0.01 mm tolerance and then finish with a custom reamer. For a typical bracket with two coaxial bores 120 mm apart, we hold concentricity to 0.02 mm. Using a 5-axis DMG MORI mill, we cut the part in two setups max. This eliminates the stack-up error you get from rotating a part on a 3-axis machine. If you need a threaded insert for a helicoil, we install it after anodizing so the thread stays clean and the torque value is repeatable.
Every CNC Machined Aircraft Bracket goes through a Zeiss CMM with a measuring envelope of 500 × 400 × 300 mm. We check all datums, hole positions, and surface profiles against your PDF or STEP file. A surface finish tester measures Ra on all sealing faces. We include a full inspection report with the shipment, stamped by our QC engineer. If you need first article inspection (FAI) per AS9102, we do it at no extra cost for the first 5 units. We keep the CMM program on file for 10 years, so repeat orders are verified against the same master data.

Thin web sections (below 1.5 mm) are where most shops fail. We use trochoidal milling with a 6 mm carbide end mill at 12,000 RPM and a chip load of 0.02 mm per tooth. This keeps cutting forces low and removes heat fast. For deep pockets (depth-to-width ratio over 4:1), we use variable flute end mills to break harmonic vibration. We also add a temporary support rib that we cut off in the final pass. The result is a wall thickness variation of less than 0.03 mm across a 30 mm deep pocket.
For tool selection, we rely on the CNC cutting tool selection guide to match coating and geometry to your material. If you are pushing tolerances below ±0.01 mm, our CNC machining tolerances guide explains how thermal growth and fixture deflection affect your part—we read it before quoting every tight job.
Each bracket is individually wrapped in VCI paper, then placed in a partitioned carton with foam inserts. We laser-etch a 2D Data Matrix code on a non-critical surface that contains the part number, batch ID, and heat number. This code links to a cloud database where you can pull the material cert and CMM report anytime. For export, we use wooden crates that meet ISPM-15. We ship via DHL or FedEx for small lots, and by sea freight for orders over 200 kg. Our precision manufacturing is made in China, but our documentation is fully bilingual (English/Chinese) and accepted by EASA and FAA repair stations.
We have no MOQ—you can order a single prototype to validate your design, and we will still run the full inspection and provide the CMM report.
Yes, we accept STEP, IGES, or PDF; if you only have a sketch, our engineers will model the part and confirm critical dimensions with you before quoting.
We run a first article inspection on a CMM, record all measurements, and compare them to your drawing; the FAI report is sent to you before production starts.
For 100 pieces of 6061-T6 aluminum, we quote 10 business days from drawing approval to delivery at your nearest international airport.
Send your 3D model or 2D drawing to sc@bquq.com with your target quantity and material. We will reply with a firm unit price, tooling cost (if any), and a confirmed delivery date within 12 hours during working days. For urgent questions, reach us on WhatsApp at +86 13713157787. We are a 20-year-old factory in Dongguan, and we make brackets that fly—literally. Send your drawing now and get a quote that holds.
