Raw machined aluminum looks industrial. If you want a brushed look, we do a 120-grit belt finish followed by clear anodize. For a matte black aesthetic, we offer Type II anodize in black or grey, which adds 15 µm to the surface. For steel brackets, we offer black oxide, zinc plating (clear or yellow), or powder coating in RAL colors with 80 µm thickness.

We also laser-etch your logo, part number, and a date code on the visible face. The etch depth is 0.02 mm, so it survives anodizing. If you need a polished mirror finish on stainless steel, we can achieve Ra 0.2 µm, but that is only recommended for decorative brackets, not structural ones, because it removes material from the surface.
