Your drawing defines the bore. Our machine does the rest. We machine the 22 Type round bore spring collet chuck to your exact dimensions, then verify every critical diameter before shipment. No guesswork, no rework on your side.

  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on bore and taper
  • Lead time: 7–12 days for standard sizes, 15 days for custom profiles
  • No MOQ — order one piece or one thousand
  • Material: 65Mn spring steel or 20CrMnTi case-hardened steel
  • Hardness: HRC 45–52 after heat treatment
  • Surface finish: Ra 0.4 µm on bore, Ra 0.8 µm on outer diameter

We are a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China, with 20 years of CNC turning, milling, and grinding experience. Your custom CNC collet chuck is made in China, but it meets ISO 9001 and your inspection standards.

Custom CNC Machined Auto Lathe 36 Type External Thread Exten

We use CNC Swiss lathes and wire-cut EDM for slotting. Grinding is done on cylindrical and internal grinders. Each chuck is individually serialized for traceability.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every batch gets a unique lot number. We record material heat number, heat treatment parameters, and final inspection data. If a problem appears in your production, you can trace it back to our furnace and grinding wheel. That is real precision manufacturing, not just a certificate.

2. Inspection report per batch. You receive a dimensional report with actual measured values for bore, taper, slot width, and concentricity. We do not send a generic "passed" sheet. You see the numbers. If you need a full CMM report or material cert, we include it at no extra cost.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Your collet chuck is not an isolated part. Many buyers also need the spring inside the chuck, a stamped retainer ring, or a heat sink for the spindle motor. We make all of them under one roof. One purchase order, one quality system, one shipping point. Fewer suppliers, fewer delays.

Where these parts are used

The 22 Type round bore spring collet chuck is common in automatic lathes and CNC turning centers. It grips round bar stock from Ø3 mm to Ø20 mm. Typical applications include:

  • Swiss-type automatic lathes — holding brass, aluminum, and stainless steel bar for watch parts, connectors, and medical screws.
  • Cam-operated auto lathes — used in high-volume production of electronic terminals, pin contacts, and fasteners.
  • Secondary machining stations — where a part is transferred from a main spindle to a sub-spindle for back-end drilling or threading.
  • Hydraulic or pneumatic chuck systems — replacing worn or out-of-tolerance original equipment collets.
  • Prototype and short-run shops — because we have no MOQ, you can order one custom collet for a trial job and scale up later.

The round bore design gives even clamping force around the full circumference. That reduces bar pushback and improves concentricity for long, thin parts. If you machine parts with tight runout requirements, this is the collet you want.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We accept one-piece orders for custom CNC collet chucks. Prototype quantities are welcome. The unit price is higher for one piece, but you get the same tolerance and inspection quality.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We grind the bore and taper on dedicated internal grinders. Every chuck is checked with a bore gauge and a taper ring. We send a dimensional report with your shipment. If any dimension is out of spec, we replace it at no cost.

Q: What is your lead time? A: Standard 22 Type collets ship in 7 days. Custom bore sizes or special materials take 12–15 days. For urgent breakdowns, we can rush a single piece in 3 days at a 30% surcharge.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We provide mill certificates for the raw material, heat treatment reports, and hardness test results. All documents are in English and stamped by our QC department.

Send your drawing

Email your PDF or STEP file to sc@bquq.com. Include the bore diameter, outer diameter, length, and material if you have a preference. If you only have a worn sample, send it by courier — we will measure and reverse-engineer it.

You will receive a firm quote within 12 hours. No vague estimates, no hidden tooling charges. The quote includes unit price, lead time, and shipping cost to your port.
