Your drawing defines the part. We machine it. Every collet chuck we ship is made to your exact print, then verified before it leaves the factory. No surprises.
Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on critical diameters
Lead time: 10–15 working days for standard batches
No MOQ – one piece or ten thousand
Material certs and inspection report included with every batch
This is a 25-type collet chuck with a waist slot detail. The waist slot is machined for precise clamping force distribution and chip clearance. We hold the slot width and depth to your spec, not a generic standard.
HRC 52–58 (case hardened) or HRC 40–45 (through hardened)
Outer diameter range
10 mm – 50 mm
Waist slot width tolerance
±0.01 mm
Concentricity (OD to bore)
≤0.005 mm
Surface finish
Ra 0.4 µm on bore, Ra 0.8 µm on OD
Machines
Citizen L20, Star SR-20, Tsugami B020, CNC Swiss lathes
Secondary operations
Wire EDM for slot, internal grinding for bore, lapping
Heat treatment
Carburizing, induction hardening, or vacuum hardening in-house
Batch size
1 – 100,000 pcs
Inspection
100% dimensional check on critical features, CMM report per batch
Lead time
10 days for prototypes, 15 days for production runs
We run 25-type collets on Swiss-type auto lathes. The waist slot is cut after heat treatment to avoid distortion. We grind the bore after slotting to maintain concentricity. This is the sequence that works.
Three reasons buyers send us their drawings
1. Batch-traceable quality.
Each batch gets a unique job number. Raw material heat number, machine operator, inspection results – all linked to that number. If you have a problem six months later, we trace it back in minutes. No guesswork.
2. Inspection report per batch.
You get a dimensional report with every shipment. Critical features measured on a CMM, recorded, and signed. The report covers slot width, OD, bore, concentricity, and hardness. You do not have to ask for it – it is standard.
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink.
Your collet chuck is not the only part you need. We also run stamping presses, spring coiling machines, and heatsink fabrication lines. You send us a full assembly drawing, we quote the whole thing. One supplier, one invoice, one quality standard. Less coordination on your side.
Where these parts are used
A 25-type collet chuck with a waist slot is not a generic part. It is used where clamping accuracy and repeatability matter.
Swiss-type CNC lathes – holding bar stock from 5 mm to 25 mm diameter for medical screws, dental implants, and watch components.
Automatic screw machines – for high-volume production of brass fittings, valve cores, and connector pins.
Tool grinding machines – clamping round tool blanks for flute grinding and end mill manufacturing.
Precision assembly fixtures – where a collet holds a shaft while a press-fit operation happens.
Aerospace fastener production – titanium and Inconel bolts need a collet that does not mark the surface. Our waist slot design reduces contact pressure.
The waist slot detail is not decorative. It allows the collet to flex evenly, so clamping force is consistent across the full length of the bore. That means less runout and longer tool life on your machine.
Q: What is your MOQ?
A: No MOQ. We make one piece for prototyping or 50,000 for production. The unit price drops with quantity, but the quality standard does not change.
Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality?
A: We machine to your drawing, not to a catalog standard. After heat treatment, we grind the bore and slot. Every part is checked against your print. A CMM report is included with each batch. If a dimension is out of spec, we do not ship it.
Q: What is your lead time?
A: 10 working days for prototypes, 15 working days for production runs. If you need faster, tell us – we can split the batch and ship partial lots.
Q: Do you provide material certificates?
A: Yes. We supply mill certificates for raw material with every batch. Hardness test reports and heat treatment records are also available on request.
