We use wire-cut EDM for the slits. This gives a clean, burr-free cut with consistent slot width. No hand filing, no variation between slots.
Heat treatment is done in-house with vacuum furnaces. We control the quench and temper cycle to hit your specified hardness exactly. Then we grind the bore and taper on a CNC internal grinder.
1. Batch-traceable quality. Every collet gets a unique batch number. We record material heat number, heat treatment parameters, and final inspection data. If you have a problem in production, we trace it back to the exact process step. You get full traceability, not a vague "we checked it."
2. Inspection report per batch. You receive a dimensional inspection report with every order. We measure bore size, taper angle, concentricity, and hardness. The report shows actual values, not just "pass/fail." Your QC team can verify our numbers against their own.

Every collet is measured on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and a hardness tester. The inspection report is included with the shipment.
