We grind the bore after heat treatment. That is how we hold 0.005 mm. We do not skip this step.
1. Batch-traceable quality Every collet gets a unique batch number. We record raw material heat number, heat treatment furnace log, and final inspection data. If a problem shows up in your spindle, you can trace it back to the exact batch and process step. No guesswork.
2. Inspection report per batch You get a full dimensional report with every shipment. Bore size, taper angle, concentricity, hardness — all measured and recorded. We use a CMM and a hardness tester calibrated every 6 months. The report is signed by the QC lead, not an intern.
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks You are not just buying a collet. You are buying a supply chain. If your assembly needs a stamped retainer, a spring, or a heat sink for the spindle motor, we make those too. One purchase order, one quality system, one shipping date. Q: How do you guarantee 0.005 mm tolerance? A: We grind the bore after heat treatment. We measure every part on a CMM. If a part is out of spec, it is scrapped, not shipped. You receive an inspection report with the batch.
Q: What is your lead time for a custom collet? A: 7 working days for a sample, 15 working days for a production batch of up to 5,000 pieces. If you need faster, tell us at the quote stage — we can split the batch and ship partials.
Q: Can you provide material certificates? A: Yes. Every batch includes a mill certificate for the raw material and a heat treatment report. If you need third-party testing, we can arrange it at cost.
