We grind the bore after heat treatment. This removes distortion and holds the ±0.005 mm spec. Slots are wire-cut, not milled, for consistent spring action across the full length. The square bore is broached or wire-cut depending on your corner radius requirement.
1. Batch-traceable quality. Each batch gets a unique job number. Raw material heat number, heat treat furnace log, and final inspection data are linked to that number. If a problem appears in your line, we trace it back to the exact melt and process step. This is standard for us, not a premium service.
2. Inspection report per batch. You get a dimensional report with actual measured values, not just a pass/fail tick box. We record bore diameter, square width, concentricity, and hardness for each sample. CMM data for critical features. You can file this with your own QC records.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance on the square bore? A: We grind the bore after heat treat. The square is wire-cut to ±0.01 mm, then we verify with a CMM. If your print calls for tighter, we can lap the bore to ±0.003 mm. Send your drawing and we will confirm the process.
