You send the drawing. We machine the collet chuck. Every unit is verified for concentricity and bore tolerance before it leaves our floor.
This is a 50-type round bore spring collet chuck for auto lathes. It holds bar stock or pre-machined parts with repeatable grip. We build it to your exact dimensions, not from a generic stock list.
Concentricity: ≤ 0.005 mm TIR
Bore tolerance: ± 0.01 mm
Lead time: 15–20 working days for custom sizes
No MOQ — order one piece or one thousand
Material: 65Mn spring steel or 40CrMo, hardened to HRC 45–50
Made in China, shipped with a full inspection report
We do not hide behind "standard specs." If your drawing calls for a 12.70 mm bore with a 0.02 mm slot width, that is what you get.

We use CNC grinding for the bore and taper. Wire EDM cuts the slots. No hand finishing, no guesswork. Each chuck is checked with a calibrated air gauge for bore size and a dial indicator for TIR.
Three reasons buyers send us their drawings
1. Batch-traceable quality. Every collet chuck gets a unique serial number. We record the heat number, grinding wheel used, and inspector ID. If a problem shows up in your assembly line, we can trace it back to the exact batch and process step. You get a full traceability sheet with every shipment.
2. Inspection report per batch. We do not just say "it's within tolerance." You receive a dimensional report showing actual measured values for bore diameter, slot width, concentricity, and hardness. The report is signed by our QC engineer and includes the CMM data. This is not a generic certificate — it is your batch's real numbers.
3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Your collet chuck is just one part of the machine. We also make the springs that push it, the stampings that hold it, and the heat sink that cools the spindle. One PO, one supplier, one quality standard. You save on logistics and avoid the headache of coordinating three vendors in three time zones.
Where these parts are used
Swiss-type auto lathes — holding 3–20 mm bar stock for watch pins, connector pins, and medical screws.
CNC turning centers — gripping pre-machined blanks for second operations like threading or knurling.
Spring coiling machines — feeding wire through the collet for consistent coil diameter.
Q: What is your MOQ?
A: No MOQ. We make one piece for prototyping or 10,000 for production. The unit price drops with quantity, but the quality standard stays identical.
Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and concentricity?
A: We grind the bore and taper on the same setup to ensure concentricity. Each unit is measured with a CMM and an air gauge. The inspection report shows actual values, not just a pass/fail stamp.
Q: What is your lead time?
A: 15 working days for prototypes (1–5 pcs). 20 working days for production batches. We can rush a single piece in 7 days if you need it urgently — just ask.
Q: Do you provide material certificates?
A: Yes. We supply mill certificates for the raw material (heat number, chemical composition, mechanical properties) with every batch. For medical or aerospace applications, we also provide full traceability documentation.
Send your drawing
We quote firm within 12 hours. No hidden costs, no "surprise" tooling charges.
Email your drawing to sc@bquq.com or message us on WhatsApp at +86 13713157787. Include the bore size, taper angle, and material preference if you have one. If you are not sure about a spec, send the drawing anyway — our engineers will tell you what works.
Precision manufacturing is our only business. Custom CNC collet chuck, made in China, with no MOQ and real inspection data. Send the drawing and see the difference.
