## Opening Your CNC collet chuck starts as a drawing. We machine it to that drawing, then verify it before shipment. Every thread, every taper, every concentricity check is documented.

This is a custom CNC collet chuck body with a spindle mount, built for your machine, not a generic shelf part. We hold tolerances down to ±0.005 mm on critical diameters. Lead time is 15–20 days for most batches. No MOQ—send one piece or one thousand.

  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on critical features
  • Material: 4140 steel, 17-4PH stainless, or aluminum 6061-T6
  • Lead time: 15–20 days
  • No MOQ
  • Inspection report included per batch

## Specifications We run a 20-year-old factory in Dongguan with 5-axis CNC mills and CNC lathes. For collet chucks, we use turning, milling, and grinding in sequence. Hard turning after heat treatment keeps the taper geometry stable.

Custom CNC Collet Chuck 5C Precision Lathe Tooling Made in C

We grind the taper after heat treatment. This removes distortion and gives you a seat that holds the collet without runout. We also balance the chuck body if your spindle speed exceeds 8,000 RPM.

## Three reasons buyers send us their drawings 1. Batch-traceable quality. Each batch gets a unique job number. We track material heat numbers, tool wear, and operator initials. If a problem shows up in your assembly line, we trace it back to the exact shift and machine.

2. Inspection report per batch. You get a CMM report with actual measured values, not just a pass/fail stamp. We measure taper angle, concentricity, and thread pitch. The report ships with the parts.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heatsinks. Your collet chuck might need a spring collet, a stamped retainer, or a heatsink for a motor spindle. We make all of them under one roof. Fewer suppliers, shorter logistics, one quality standard.

## Where these parts are used Custom CNC collet chucks show up in high-precision workholding setups. Common applications:

  • CNC lathe spindles – mounting collets for bar stock feeding, especially in Swiss-type machines.
  • Tool holders – holding end mills or drills in milling spindles where runout matters.
  • Rotary transfer machines – quick-change collet systems for multi-station machining.
  • Automotive production lines – clamping valve stems, fuel injector bodies, or gear blanks.
  • Medical device machining – holding small titanium or stainless parts with repeatable centering.
  • Aerospace fixtures – custom spindle mounts for drilling or reaming operations on airframe components.

If your spindle has a specific flange or thread pattern, we match it. We have made chucks for BT30, BT40, CAT40, HSK63A, and proprietary mounts.

## Questions buyers ask before ordering Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We machine a single prototype for testing. Production pricing kicks in at 50 pieces, but you are never forced to order more than you need.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We use in-process probing on the CNC machine, then verify with a CMM after grinding. Critical dimensions are measured at 20°C in a temperature-controlled room. The inspection report is included with your shipment.

Q: What is the lead time? A: 15 days for a prototype batch (1–5 pieces). 20 days for production runs. If you need faster, we can split the batch and air-freight the first pieces.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We provide mill certificates for the raw material, heat treatment reports if applicable, and a certificate of conformance with every order.

## Send your drawing Send us your 2D drawing or 3D model. We will check the geometry, suggest material and heat treatment if you are unsure, and give you a firm quote within 12 hours.
