  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on bore and hex geometry
  • Lead time: 7–12 days for prototypes, 15–20 days for production runs
  • No MOQ: order one piece or ten thousand
  • Inspection report included with every batch

We are a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China. Twenty years of CNC machining, stamping, springs, and heat sinks under one roof. You send the drawing. We return a part that fits your chuck and holds your workpiece.

Custom CNC Collet Chuck Set 36 46 Type Precision Made in Chi

We use CNC turning and grinding for the OD and bore, then wire-cut the slots. The hex bore is broached or wire-cut depending on size and tolerance. Every collet is stress-relieved after machining to prevent distortion during use.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality Each batch gets a unique number. We record material heat number, machine used, operator, and inspection results. If a problem appears in your production, we trace it back to the exact melt and shift. No guesswork.

2. Inspection report per batch You receive a dimensional report with every shipment. It lists bore size, hex geometry, OD, length, hardness, and surface finish. Measured values, not nominal values. Your QC team can verify against our numbers in minutes.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks Your collet chuck might need a stamped retainer, a spring, or a heat sink in the same assembly. We make all of them. One purchase order, one quality system, one shipping point. Fewer suppliers, fewer delays, fewer arguments about who is responsible.

Where these parts are used

The 25-type hex bore spring collet is common in automatic lathes and CNC collet chucks. Typical applications:

  • Swiss-type lathes – holding hex bar stock for screw machine parts
  • CNC turning centers – gripping hex blanks for milling or drilling operations
  • Secondary operations – holding hex parts for thread rolling, knurling, or cross-drilling
  • Automotive components – fuel injector bodies, sensor housings, valve seats
  • Fastener industry – hex bolts and nuts requiring precise angular orientation
  • Medical device machining – small hex implants and surgical instruments

The hex bore locks the workpiece orientation. No slippage, no rotation, no re-indexing. That is why buyers specify a custom hex collet instead of a round bore with a set screw.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one prototype for your fit test, or a thousand pieces for production. The unit price drops with quantity, but we do not force you to over-order.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We machine to ±0.005 mm on the bore and hex. Every collet is measured with a CMM or bore gauge. The batch report shows actual values. If anything is out of spec, we replace it at no cost.

Q: What is your lead time? A: Prototypes ship in 7–12 days. Production runs of 100+ pieces ship in 15–20 days. For urgent orders, we can expedite to 5 days for a small surcharge.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We supply mill certificates for the raw material, heat treatment reports, and hardness test results. All documents are in English and traceable to the batch number.
