Opening

Your drawing defines the part. We machine it to that drawing, verify every critical dimension, and ship only after passing inspection.

This is a 52-type collet chuck for automatic lathes. It is quenched and darkened for wear resistance and corrosion control. We make it to your exact bore profile, thread pitch, and slot geometry.

  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on bore and slot widths
  • Lead time: 10–15 working days for standard batches
  • No MOQ: order 1 piece or 10,000 pieces
  • Material: 20CrMnTi or 40Cr, hardened to HRC 58–62
  • Finish: quenched dark (black oxide) or as specified

We are a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China, with 20 years of experience. You send the drawing. We return a firm quote and a part that fits your spindle.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Every collet chuck gets a unique batch number. We record heat treatment curves, grinding wheel specs, and final inspection data. If a problem appears in your production, we trace it back to the exact heat lot and machine operator.

2. Inspection report per batch. You receive a dimensional report with actual measured values, not just a pass/fail stamp. We measure bore diameter, concentricity, slot width, and hardness. The report is signed by our QC engineer and sent with the shipment.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks. Your collet chuck is not the only part you need. We also run CNC machining, metal stamping, spring coiling, and heat sink fabrication lines. Send us a full assembly drawing. We coordinate all processes under one roof, one quality system, one shipping date.

Where these parts are used

  • Automatic lathes (Swiss-type and cam-type) – for feeding and clamping bar stock up to Ø52 mm in high-volume turning operations.
  • Precision screw machining – collet chucks hold hex, square, and round stock for fasteners, fittings, and valve components.
  • Medical device manufacturing – small-diameter titanium and stainless parts require repeatable clamping force and zero runout.
  • Automotive fuel injector components – high-volume production of nozzles and needles demands a chuck that holds concentricity over millions of cycles.
  • Electrical connector pins – brass and copper pins are machined at high spindle speeds; a hardened, dark-finished chuck resists wear and galling.
  • Hydraulic fittings – the quenched surface reduces friction and prevents seizing when clamping steel and stainless blanks.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: Is there a minimum order quantity? A: No. We accept single-piece prototypes and full production runs. The price per piece drops with quantity, but we do not force you to over-order.

Q: What tolerance and quality can you guarantee? A: Standard tolerance is ±0.005 mm on bore and slot widths, with concentricity ≤0.005 mm TIR. We provide a CMM inspection report for every batch. If we miss a dimension, we remake the part at no cost.

Q: What is the lead time for a custom CNC collet chuck? A: For standard 52-type with your bore and thread spec, 10–15 working days. For fully custom profiles with special slots or coatings, allow 20 working days. We can expedite to 7 days for urgent orders, subject to material availability.

Q: Do you provide material certificates and heat treatment reports? A: Yes. Each batch ships with a mill certificate for the raw material, a hardness test report, and a heat treatment curve. We can also provide third-party testing (SGS, BV) at your request.
