Custom CNC Collet Chuck 630 Type Auto Lathe Parts Made in Ch

All material certs are available. We keep batch records for 3 years.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Each lot gets a unique batch number. We record heat treatment curves, grinding wheel specs, and final inspection data. If you have a problem in your line, we can trace back to the exact heat treat furnace and operator. That is not common for collet chucks made in China.

2. Inspection report per batch. You get a dimensional report with every shipment. It lists bore diameter, TIR, surface roughness, and hardness. We do not send a generic certificate. You get real numbers from our CMM and Rockwell tester. If you need a full material certificate, we include that too.

3. One factory for CNC, stamping, springs, and heat sinks. You are not just buying a collet chuck. You are buying a supplier who can also make your spring collets, stamped washers, and heat sink plates. One purchase order, one quality system, one shipping point. That saves you time and freight cost.

Where these parts are used

The 640 type round bore collet chuck is used in automatic lathes, especially Swiss-type and sliding headstock machines. It grips round bar stock from 3 mm to 60 mm. Common applications:

  • High-volume turning of pins, shafts, and bushings for automotive fuel systems.
  • Medical device machining: bone screws, dental implants, small instrument shafts.
  • Electronics hardware: connector pins, standoffs, and precision spacers.
  • Fastener manufacturing: collets for screw blanks and rivets.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic fittings where round stock needs repeatable concentric gripping.

In each case, the collet chuck must hold the bar without marking it, release quickly, and maintain grip over thousands of cycles. Our hardened and ground bore does exactly that. The wire-cut slots give even clamping force across the full length of the collet.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one piece for prototype validation. For production, we can run 10,000 pieces per month on our auto lathe line. You decide the quantity.

Q: How do you control tolerance and quality? A: We machine to ±0.005 mm on the bore. After heat treatment, we grind the bore and OD. Final inspection is done on a CMM with a calibrated probe. Every piece is checked for bore diameter and TIR. We send you the report.

Q: What is your lead time for custom CNC collet chucks? A: 7 days for a prototype, 10 days for production quantities. If you need faster, we can split the order and ship partial lots. We also keep common sizes (8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 20 mm) in semi-finished stock.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We provide mill certificates for the raw material, heat treatment reports, and hardness test results. All are traceable to the batch number. If your customer requires a specific standard (ASTM, DIN, JIS), we can source that material.
