Opening

Your drawing defines the part. Our machines execute it. We make custom CNC collet chucks from 20 mm to 200 mm OD, with bore sizes from 1 mm to 50 mm. Every unit is verified before shipment—not sampled, not spot-checked. We measure critical dimensions on a CMM and record the data. If it does not match your print, it does not ship.

  • Tolerance: ±0.005 mm on bore and taper
  • Lead time: 10–15 working days for prototypes, 20–25 for production runs
  • No MOQ—order one piece or ten thousand
  • Material certs included with every batch

We are a precision manufacturing factory in Dongguan, China, with 20 years of CNC machining experience. You send the drawing. We return a part that fits your spindle and holds your workpiece.

Custom CNC Collet Chuck Set 15 18 20 22

We grind the bore after heat treatment. This holds the taper angle within 0.002 mm over the full length. Slots are wire-cut, not milled, to avoid burrs and maintain edge sharpness. Each collet is serialized for traceability.

Three Reasons Buyers Send Us Their Drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality Every collet gets a serial number. We link it to the material heat number, heat treatment batch, and inspection records. If a part fails in your machine six months from now, we can trace it to the exact steel pour and quench cycle. No guesswork. No blame-shifting.

2. Inspection report per batch You get a full dimensional report with every order. This includes bore diameter, taper angle, concentricity, hardness, and surface roughness. We also send photos of the CMM screen and the actual part. You do not need to re-measure our parts. You can, but you will not find a discrepancy.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + springs + heat sinks We run four production lines under one roof: CNC machining, metal stamping, spring winding, and heat sink fabrication. If your collet chuck assembly needs a spring-loaded pusher, a stamped retainer, or a heat-treated housing, we make it here. You deal with one engineer, one invoice, one shipping point. This cuts your supplier management time by at least 30%.

Where These Parts Are Used

Custom CNC collet chucks from our factory run in Swiss-type lathes, CNC turning centers, and automatic bar feeders. You will find them in:

  • Medical device manufacturing—holding small titanium and stainless parts for bone screws and surgical instruments. Our collets hold 0.01 mm tolerance on a 3 mm diameter.
  • Aerospace fasteners—titanium bolts and rivets require a collet that does not deform under high clamping force. We use 42CrMo with a hardened bore to resist wear.
  • Automotive fuel injectors—high-volume production demands collets that last 500,000 cycles without losing grip. Our case-hardened collets achieve this consistently.
  • Electronics connectors—brass and beryllium copper pins, 1 mm to 5 mm OD, need a collet with a smooth bore to avoid scratching the surface. We polish to Ra 0.2 µm on request.
  • Watchmaking and jewelry—small, delicate parts that require a gentle but secure grip. Our collets are balanced to avoid vibration at 10,000 RPM.

Questions Buyers Ask Before Ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one prototype for you to test, or we run 100,000 pieces. The price per piece drops with volume, but the quality standard stays identical. We do not change processes for small orders.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We measure 100% of critical dimensions on a CMM. The bore and taper are ground, not turned, to achieve ±0.005 mm. We send you the inspection report with the shipment. If a part is out of spec, we replace it at no cost, including shipping.

Q: What is your lead time for a custom CNC collet chuck? A: Prototypes ship in 10–15 working days after drawing approval. Production runs of 1,000+ pieces ship in 20–25 days. We can expedite to 7 days for an urgent prototype, subject to material availability.

Q: Do you provide material certificates and heat treatment reports? A: Yes. Every batch includes a mill certificate for the raw material and a heat treatment report showing hardness and case depth. We also provide a RoHS and REACH compliance statement if your application requires it.
