Custom CNC Collet Chuck 20 Type Auto Lathe Round Bar Stock

We use CNC lathes and wire EDM for slotting. Grinding is done on cylindrical and internal grinders with in-process gauging. Every collet is matched to a master taper gauge before shipment.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality, not just a box of parts. Each batch gets a unique code. We record material certs, heat treatment curves, and final inspection data against that code. If a problem appears in your line, you can trace it back to the exact melt and grind shift. No ambiguity.

2. Inspection report per batch, free with every order. You get a PDF with actual measured values — bore diameter, taper angle, hardness, surface roughness. Not a generic certificate. Real numbers from real gauges. This saves your incoming QC time and removes surprises.

3. One factory for CNC machining, stamping, springs, and heat sinks. Your collet chuck is rarely the only part you need. We run four production lines under one roof. Send us a drawing package with a collet, a spring, a stamped bracket, and a heat sink — we quote them together, machine them together, and ship them together. Fewer suppliers, fewer logistics headaches, one accountable partner.

Where these parts are used

This collet set is standard for Swiss-type lathes and sliding-headstock CNC machines. Typical applications:

  • Medical device components — small titanium and stainless parts requiring ±0.005 mm grip repeatability
  • Watch and jewelry manufacturing — delicate pinions, stems, and cases, where surface finish matters
  • Automotive fuel injection parts — high-volume production of nozzles and plungers needing minimal runout
  • Electronics connectors — brass and copper contacts machined at high spindle speeds
  • Aerospace fasteners — small-diameter bolts and inserts where traceability is mandatory

The mid-series design gives you a wider gripping range per collet, reducing changeover time in mixed-batch production. Hardened slots and ground tapers hold up through millions of cycles without losing grip force.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: Is there really no MOQ? A: Correct. We accept one-piece orders for custom CNC collet chucks. The price per piece is higher for single units, but the engineering and inspection process is identical. Many buyers order one sample, test it, then scale up.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We grind the bore and taper after heat treatment, not before. Then we check 100% of parts with air gauges and a calibrated taper master. The inspection report shows actual values, not pass/fail marks. If a part is out of spec, it does not ship.

Q: What is your lead time for a custom collet set? A: Standard sizes (25, 28, 30, 32) ship in 7–10 days. Custom bore profiles or special slot designs take 15 days from drawing approval. Urgent orders can be expedited to 5 days for standard materials.

Q: Can you provide material certificates and heat treatment reports? A: Yes. Every batch includes a mill certificate for the raw material and a heat treatment curve log. We can also provide third-party testing if your customer requires it — just note it on your RFQ.
