Opening

We machine your internal expanding collet chuck to your drawing. Not a stock item modified to fit. We cut, grind, and inspect from raw bar stock or your forging. Every chuck is verified for concentricity and clamping force before it leaves our Dongguan factory.

At a glance: Tolerance ±0.005 mm on critical diameters. Lead time 15 working days for standard sizes. No MOQ—one piece or one thousand. Material certs included with every batch.

Custom CNC Collet Chuck 46 Type Round Bore Auto Lathe

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality. Each lot gets a unique heat number and work order. If a problem appears in your assembly line, we trace it to the exact machine, operator, and material batch. No guesswork.

2. Inspection report per batch. You receive a full dimensional report with every shipment. Taper angles, slot widths, hardness values, concentricity—all measured and recorded. We do not ship without the report. Your incoming QC can verify in minutes, not hours.

3. One factory for CNC + stamping + spring + heatsink. Your collet chuck is not the only part in your spindle assembly. We also make the springs inside the chuck, the stampings for your actuator, and the heatsink on your motor driver. One purchase order, one shipping point, one quality standard. Fewer suppliers, fewer delays.

Where these parts are used

Internal expanding collet chucks are workholding devices. They grip the inside diameter of a part so you can machine the outside. Typical applications:

  • Auto lathe spindles for high-volume turning of bushings, pins, and sleeves. The chuck grips the bore, the lathe cuts the OD and threads.
  • Gear manufacturing—holding gear blanks by their pre-machined bore for hobbing or shaping.
  • Grinding operations where you need to finish an OD concentric to an existing bore. Our chuck holds the bore within 0.01 mm TIR.
  • Balancing machines for rotors and armatures. The expanding chuck centers the part on its true axis, not on a rough surface.
  • Robotic assembly cells where a pneumatic or hydraulic actuator opens and closes the chuck to pick and place parts.

Most of our customers are in automotive, electric motor, and hydraulic component manufacturing. They run 24/7 and cannot afford a chuck that slips or wears out after a month.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: What is your MOQ? A: No MOQ. We make one prototype for testing or a full production run. The unit price is higher for single pieces because setup time dominates, but we do not turn away small orders.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We grind all critical surfaces after heat treatment. Taper angles are measured with a sine bar and indicator. Concentricity is checked on a precision mandrel. Every batch ships with a CMM report. If a part is out of spec, we replace it at no cost.

Q: What is your lead time? A: 15 working days for standard sizes after drawing approval. For complex multi-slot designs or special materials, allow 20–25 working days. We can expedite to 10 days for an urgent order, subject to machine availability.

Q: Do you provide material certificates? A: Yes. We supply mill certificates for the raw material and our own heat treatment report. For aerospace or medical applications, we can provide full traceability including chemical composition and hardness curves.

Send your drawing

Email your PDF or STEP file. We check the design for manufacturability—slot width, expansion range, and wall thickness. You get a firm quote in 12 hours, not a vague estimate.
