Custom CNC Collet Chuck Auto Lathe 42 Square Bore Spring Col

All collets are machined from solid bar stock. We do not use castings or blanks. This gives you consistent grain structure and predictable wear life.

Three reasons buyers send us their drawings

1. Batch-traceable quality Every heat number is recorded. Every batch gets a unique job number. If you need to trace material back to the mill, we provide the certificate. This matters for aerospace, medical, and automotive lines where audits are routine.

2. Inspection report per batch You get a dimensional report with every shipment. It lists bore ID, OD, taper angle, concentricity, and surface finish. We measure with CMM and bore gauges calibrated to ISO standards. No guesswork. No "trust us" — you see the numbers.

3. One factory for CNC, stamping, springs, and heat sinks Your collet chuck set is not the only part you buy. We also run CNC machining, metal stamping, spring winding, and heat sink fabrication lines under one roof. That means you can consolidate vendors. One purchase order, one quality system, one shipping point. Fewer headaches, lower logistics cost.

Where these parts are used

This custom CNC collet chuck set is not a shelf item. It is made for specific machines and jobs.

  • Swiss-type lathes — gripping bar stock from 15 mm to 52 mm for long, slender parts. Common in medical device and watchmaking.
  • Multi-spindle auto lathes — high-volume production of brass fittings, steel pins, and aluminum connectors. The collet set keeps cycle times stable.
  • CNC turning centers with bar feeders — for jobs that run unattended overnight. Consistent gripping force prevents part slippage and tool chatter.
  • Secondary operations — holding pre-machined blanks for drilling, broaching, or thread rolling. The round bore grips on the OD without marking the part.

If you run any of these machines, you know that a poor collet ruins your tolerances. Our set is ground after heat treatment, not just turned. That is the difference between a collet that works for a week and one that works for a year.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Q: Is there a minimum order quantity? A: No. We accept one piece for prototyping or a full set for production. The price per piece drops with quantity, but the process is identical. No MOQ, no setup fee for standard alloys.

Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and concentricity? A: We grind the bore and taper after heat treatment. Then we measure every collet on a CMM. The inspection report shows actual values, not nominal ones. If a collet is out of spec, it does not ship.

Q: What is the lead time for a custom set? A: Standard alloys like 4140 or 8620 take 10-15 working days. If you need expedited service, we can quote 5-7 days for an additional charge. We do not quote lead times we cannot meet.

Q: Can you provide material certificates and heat treatment reports? A: Yes. Every batch comes with a mill certificate for raw material and a heat treatment report showing hardness values. Third-party inspection is available on request.

Send your drawing

Stop guessing whether a stock collet will fit your machine. Send us your drawing and we will quote a custom CNC collet chuck set that matches your spindle, your bar stock, and your tolerance requirements.

We reply with a firm quote within 12 hours. No hidden costs, no vague promises.
