Q: Is there really no MOQ? A: Correct. We machine one piece for prototype validation. Production pricing starts at 10 pieces. Our CNC setup cost is fixed, so small batches are economical. For a 15 mm square bore collet, single-piece price is about 1.5x the 100-piece price.
Q: How do you guarantee tolerance and quality? A: We grind the taper and bore on the same setup to hold concentricity. Each collet is measured on a CMM with a resolution of 0.001 mm. The inspection report lists actual values for every critical dimension. If any value is out of spec, the part is scrapped, not shipped.
Q: What is your lead time for a custom set? A: Standard sizes (15, 20, 25, 32, 42, 52 mm) ship in 5 days. Custom bore shapes or special materials take 10-15 days. Heat treatment adds 3 days if we need to hit a specific hardness range. We quote exact dates when you send the drawing.
